It’s obvious to me that Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs are used to make people live by the mark of the beast. They give positive reinforcement by giving needs to those who say, “Yes,” to the mark, and they withhold needs to those who say, “No,” to the mark.
I remember when I was seeing people as trees. I knew that people needed to be nourished in order to be healthy and to grow. I even applied “Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs” to my Bible reading. That’s before I understood that Maslow is adopted by humanism which is the sheep’s clothing worn by those who live by the mark of the beast. Maslow teaches that people need the nourishment of food, water, and health. They need to feel safe and secure and have a roof over their heads. They need to feel loved and to be accepted by others. They need to be respected and to respect others. And they need to be able to express their own identity, to express who they feel that they are. All of those things Jesus cares about, but without Jesus Christ the vision is the humanism we see in the world today, providing cover for the mark of the beast.
Those who govern by the mark of the beast use Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs as the sheep’s clothing which they wear. They discard the need for Jesus Christ, ignore the Holy Spirit as being a person, and they blaspheme God. Humanism is adopted as the way to salvation and a “global democracy,” but just the opposite is happening. The life of the earth is being destroyed as the sun’s intense heat is causing more human suffering than ever before. There are droughts, shortages in food supply, endemics and pandemics, violence, protests, and riots around the world. The 166,000 migrants that come to the US/Mexico border every month screams of a humanitarian crisis. When the Lordship of Jesus Christ is needed most, they prohibit the preaching of the Gospel. Jesus Christ is needed in our world today.
The sun’s intense heat is a judgment of God and plays a role in destroying this unGodly system of government, as seen in Revelation 16:8-10.
I was homeless for about a year, and I still hold to my testimony for Jesus Christ. I threw Maslow under the bus and chose Jesus Christ. Now I see people clearly. All the efforts of humanism to improve the human condition means nothing if Jesus Christ is not included. I, and everyone else, has to see ourselves clearly for who we really are. I am a person who has inherited sin in my human nature, like every person around the world. There is no earthly utopia to give a better inheritance to the children. Our future hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ who promises a new heaven and new earth to those who believe in Him. Through Jesus, I, and everyone else, are made right with God.
Jesus opens our eyes to see humanity clearly, as sinners who need to reconcile to God through Jesus Christ.
“They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man
and begged Jesus to touch him.
He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village.
When He had spit on the man’s eyes and put His hands on him, Jesus asked,
“Do you see anything?” He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” Once more Jesus put His hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened,
his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into the village.”
