“And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.” Romans 13:11-14
With an understanding of the present times of the year 2022, it is time for me, and all those who live for Jesus Christ, to keep alert with eyes wide open. Salvation is nearer to me now than it has ever been, even nearer than the day I first believed. That Salvation is the return of Jesus Christ. The dark days of the global system of the beast is steadily coming to an end and the bright day of the coming of Jesus Christ is so close we can see Him standing at the door. Click here for a post on Revelations 13:5-6 on the beginning and end of the “42” months” reign of the beast.
“Forty-two months” or “1260 days” is how long the beast exists in the world. This is the beast that has power over physiology to give people what to speak, do, think, and feel. The beast gives life to the image of the beast to speak and live through people everywhere. They are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast by what they are given to say and do.
“1260 days” [“42 months”] is how long the faithful few will witness for Jesus with mourning in their heart, as described in Revelations 11:3. Those days are filled with hatred and spite towards the Gospel of Christ and that is why there is sadness in the hearts of God’s people. Jesus says, “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.” John 16:20-22
Christians have been existing alongside those who live for the beast that gives them what to say and do. The new global order under the United Nations began immediately after WW2 and has brought the government of beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14, and also Revelations 17. Since that time, there has been a steady decline around the world in the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Christianity as a whole. As of this date in 2022, witnessing for Jesus Christ comes with affliction, hardships, and persecution.
The day of Jesus’s return is my Salvation, and that day is almost here. There is less than “1260 days” before His return. Revelation 11:3-6 writes about the “1260 days” of the two faithful witnesses, which are the Church and Holy Spirit (Christians are the Church), which are the faithful few who are persecuted. That is also talked about in Zechariah 4, the first couple of verses and the last couple of verses. The character of the existence of the beast is talked about in Revelations 13.
Now is the time to choose Jesus Christ and to reject the beast that gives people what to speak, do, think, and feel. Sins of the flesh also include choosing earthly empowerment over the Holy Spirit. Such sins include the physiological empowerment of uncanny knowledge, extraordinary skills and talents, amazing physical abilities, uncanny authority over others, sensual pleasures, fabricated emotional responses, putting health of the body over a healthy relationship with Chrit Jesus, and desiring earthly youthfulness over the eternal life that comes by faith in Jesus Christ, etc. They are sins of the flesh because those bodily benefits are chosen over God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
Those fleshly rewards motivate those of today’s culture to oppose Christianity and human sentimentality. Authority over the internal processes of human nature is contrary to God’s purpose through Jesus Christ. It’s time to put aside the deeds of darkness and to put on the armor of light. It’s also time to put away other forms of fleshly sins and to behave decently. Those other forms of sin include group rowdiness, drunkenness, sexual immorality, conflict, discord, and jealousy. Some are jealous of the full lifestyle enjoyed by those of today’s culture but it’s time to be clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ and not to think about how to glorify the desires of the flesh.

Are you stating at this point there is 1260 days until Christ returns?

Today is the day to make Jesus Christ part of our day-to-day life. If there is only one day until Jesus returns, then today is when we have to come to God through Jesus Christ. At this very moment is when we want to believe that Jesus is alive and to talk about Him to others. This morning is when it’s time to ask God to forgive our sin and to accept Jesus Christ into our life. Jesus Christ died on the Cross to atone for our sin, He was raised from the dead three days later, and now lives forever at the throne of God. Because He lives, we can live too. Jesus is coming soon.

I would agree, but I just wasn’t sure if you were giving an exact date. Salvation is available today!

Thanks for the response. No, not an exact date at all, I know better than that. It is in the same context as what the Bible uses “42 months” and “1260 days.” It shows how near His return is. The faithful few and the mark of the beast are here on this earth today. The Word of God is real, and I am seeing His word being fulfilled right in front of my eyes. The presence of the mark of the beast is the last big thing that happens before the return of Jesus Christ. It’s encouragement to stand firm in our testimony for Jesus during these very difficult and trying times. Jesus is returning very soon.
