Working for Utopia, Believing for the New Jerusalem

Romans 9:30-33

Those of us who live for Jesus Christ are not lifting a finger to help usher in utopia on this earth that is governed by the inner presence of the mark of the beast. We are not chasing after their brand of righteousness. At the same time, we will inherit the New Jerusalem. What we achieve is through faith in Jesus Christ, but they fail at achieving their utopia because they do it by their own efforts and own sense of righteousness. There is only one way to the Paradise of God and that is through faith in Jesus Christ.

What then shall we say? That the Gentiles,
who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;
but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness,
have not attained their goal.
Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works.
Romans 9:30-32a

The present world system is working on building a global utopia. They are just inches away from changing local laws and constitutions to conform to one constitution for every nation around the world. They use all the right buzzwords, such as democracy, democratic society, peace, tolerance, inclusion, family, community, etc. With the busy work of building an international community, they toss aside any notion of God and leaves out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Which means that Christians are not in their blueprint. There is one major roadblock, the sun’s intense heat, which is a judgment from God for rejecting Jesus Christ. Revelation 16:8-10 says that.

“They stumbled over the stumbling stone.
As it is written:
“See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall,
and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”
Romans 9:32b-33

The world order is depending on the internal government to change attitudes, beliefs, and lifestyles. The power over physiology and the ability to form thoughts, emotions, and behaviors isn’t the right foundation to build on. Their building blocks are those who live by the inner presence of mark of the beast, and they are building on sinking sand. Jesus Christ is the only stable foundation to build on.

Paul explains that the Gentiles didn’t lift a finger trying to live up to the righteousness of the law (Old Testament). Yet, without even trying, they obtained it by faith in Jesus Christ, and that is what God considers righteous. Yet, the people of Israel worked laboriously according to the law and never reached their goal. Israel couldn’t obtain their goal because they were trying to make it happen themselves instead of placing their faith in Jesus Christ. They stumbled over Jesus and that was their fall.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
