It is a bad idea for me to believe that grace makes it OK to offend God and ignore the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If I believed that, I would be living by the mark of the beast. That is exactly what the internal government does by removing the idea of right and wrong or good and bad. That’s their idea of grace, then they eliminate the Spirit of Christ and even discard human sentiments. The human robots give themselves to the Godless control over their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. They give themselves to the mark of the beast. I am determined to give myself over to God through Jesus Christ. My desire is to live by the Word of God and not to be a part of the society of human robots. I am free from that Godlessness and my life is dedicated to being right with God through Jesus Christ.
Paul explains that living through grace and not by the law (Old Testament) is not a license to toss out God’s Holiness. It’s a choice of owing oneself to a life of sin or giving oneself to God through Jesus Christ. Giving oneself to a lifestyle of sin makes a person dead to God but giving oneself to Christ brings righteousness. Choosing to obey Jesus from the heart is freedom from sin and that chains us to a life of righteousness.
“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means!
Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves,
you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death,
or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?
But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey
from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.
You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.”
Romans 6:15-18
