God executes His judgment on Israel for all the world to see

Ezekiel 5:6-8

“She has rebelled against My judgments by doing wickedness more than the nations, and against My statutes more than the countries that are all around her; for they have refused My judgments, and they have not walked in My statutes.’” Ezekiel 5:6

The Ten Commandments were a unique gift from God to the Israelites. All twelve tribes of Israel, and every single person of those tribes, were given these divine laws. The nations around them did not have those standards of living. The Israelites, however, violated the Ten Commandments so severely that their culture became more spiritually corrupt than the nations around her.

During the time Jesus Christ walked on this earth, the Old Testament prophecies of His coming were so polluted that they were not able to acknowledge Him as their Messiah.  “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.” Matthew 23:15

Today, the Lord God considers the Israelis within the State of Israel to be more spiritually corrupt than the nations that are all around her. They are worse than the culture of Iran, Syria, Lebanon, those in the West Bank those of the Gaza Strip, etc. The Israelis have a special responsibility to preserve and follow the word of God, but they have neglected their Biblical heritage. To throw away a treasure given from the hand of God is far worse than never to have had that legacy handed to them. “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” James 4:17 They rejected Jesus Christ, their Messiah.

“Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have disobedience more than the nations that are all around you, have not walked in My statutes nor kept My judgments, nor even done according to the judgments of the nations that are all around you’— Ezekiel 5:7

The State of Israel has abandoned its Biblical heritage and also do not conform to the laws of its neighboring countries. Therefore, the government of the State of Israel is subject to both the judgment of God and international condemnation. This explains why the global government is the instrument for bringing the wrath of God’s judgment against the State of Israel. The United Nations demand that Israel surrender their independence to conform to the goal of forming a one world government. Israel refuses to be molded by the standards of the Middle East countries. Likewise, God demands that the Israelis conform to His will by accepting His Son Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Israel refuses to be molded to the will of God through Jesus Christ.

— therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Indeed I, even I, am against you and will execute judgments in your midst in the sight of the nations.” Ezekiel 5:8

A recent example of the judgments against and within the State of Israel is the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023. The judgments against Isarael are broadcasted by news media for all the nations to see. Since the recognition of Israel as a State in 1948, there has been 18 wars, including in that year. Israel rejected the will of God for them to accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah. As a result, instead of being Christian they have their own Jewish nation called the State of Israel. That is where God is unleashing the wrath of His judgment on them. As Christians, we do not have a nation on this earth to call our own, our nation is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth.

In Isaiah 8:11-15, God warned the Jewish people not to think that belief in Jesus Christ was a conspiracy against the Jewish culture. He came to save not to destroy. They were cautioned not to be afraid of the threats of the Pharisees, who made belief in Jesus a literal crime. They feared. The Jewish people were warned that Jesus Christ would be an offense to them, and they would stumble. They were offended and stumbled. They were told that Israel would be broken because of their rejection of Him. They are being broken.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
