Each person is responsible to God through Jesus Christ, including every Jewish person, and each member of a family.

God does not hold the sins of the parents against the children.
The fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children’s teeth set on edge? “The word of the Lord came to me again, saying, “What do you mean when you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying: ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’? As I live,” says the Lord God, “you shall no longer use this proverb in Israel.” Ezekiel 18:1-2-3

The proverb, “The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’?” creates the image of a parent chewing sour grapes while the children are experiencing the sourness in their own mouth. The meaning is that whatever bad decisions the parents make, it becomes the consequences of their children. However, God has declared that He will make it happen that this proverb is no longer used in Israel.

When Jesus Christ came to the Jewish people 2000 years ago, He freed them from their obligation to follow the rules of the Pharisees. No longer would their relationship with God be dependent on the spiritually corrupt Jewish leaders. The Pharisees were eating sour grapes and caused those who followed them to experience the sourness of trying to live by the burdens put on them. Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.

We live in a world where parents are responsible to the rules of mainstream society for how their children are raised. Parents are pressured to raise their children according to the will of the entity that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity opposes the goodness of God, discards the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and oppresses the Holy Spirit. The teachings of the Gospel of Christ are absent within society and Christianity is unwelcomed. The entity that gives parents what to say and do enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them. Parents are expected to raise their children according to the will of the entity that gives them how to respond to their children. Sour grapes are eaten by the parents and the children are left to experience the sourness in their own mouth. Families everywhere are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

God wants us to know that children are individually responsible to God through Jesus Christ. Likewise, each parent is individually responsible to God through Jesus. The “whosoever” are individual people, not family units, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” Matthew 10:34-39

All souls belong to God and are not connected to someone else. “Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4

Every soul belongs to God, meaning He judges each one of us individually according to our relationship with Jesus Christ. The soul of each mother, each father, each son, and each daughter belong to God. The soul that sins will die. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 Sin is to deny God the Creator, to discard the need for Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, and to oppress the Holy Spirit.

The Jewish people had a practice of considering a whole group of people to be cursed and guilty of sin according to their family tree. For example, Canaan was cursed because of his father’s sin against Noah, (Genesis 9:18-27). As a result, everyone born in his lineage became known as the cursed Canaanites. Also, everyone born in the family tree of the Samaritans became known as the defiled and cursed Samaritans. God sent Ezekiel to set this injustice right. Ezekiel plainly said, the soul who sins shall die and those who do righteously will live.

The “Ifs” for the whosoever who wants to live in the will of God.
If one does not serve the idols of this world he will live. “But if a man is just and does what is lawful and right; If he has not eaten on the mountains, nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel,” Ezekiel 18:5-6a.

God gives life to those who does what is just, lawful, and right. The justice, laws, and righteousness of carnal human beings are filthy rags compared to the righteousness of God. The righteousness God wants us to have comes through Jesus Christ. “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20 A comparison of their righteousness to God’s righteousness is explained like this, “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.” Matthew 5:38-39

Eating on the mountains and lifting up eyes to idols refer to serving a false god. Today, the false god in high places refer to the entity that gives people what to think, feel, say, and do. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people and by what they say and do they are groomed to the mark of the beast. Those of us who do not serve this entity will receive life from God by serving Jesus Christ. The vision Ezekiel saw in chapter one relates the false god in high places to the space shuttle, space station, and space satellites.

The idols of the house of Israel are far from the will of God. They refused to humble themselves to receive Jesus Christ as their Messiah, Lord, and Savior. Instead, they have exalted their Jewish culture above Him. God does not want us to be like those who exalt themselves as the creature above Him as the Creator. The Jewish people have been gathered to the State of Israel as the place where God unleashes His wrath on them for serving the false god.

The Israelis have been in 18 wars since the State of Israel was established in 1948. Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. If they hadn’t exalted their own culture above Jesus Christ, the State of Israel would never have existed. God meant for the Jewish people to be Christian. If they were Christian, they would not have a nation on this earth to call their own. As Christians, our nation is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth. We who live for Jesus Christ inherit eternal life.

The Israelis serve the false god that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say as they conform to the will of the global culture. They riot and protest for LGBQT+ rights and have the most liberal rights to allow the killing of the unborn. They also protest and riot against their own government (the State of Israel) to demand conformity to will of the global government of the beast (United Nations).

If a parent has a child who lives by the false god that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say, then the child will die to God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The child will die the eternal death in hell. This is true for the child who “…has eaten on the mountains…” Ezekiel 18:11 If a parent has a child who does not live by the false god, then the child will live to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. “Who has not eaten on the mountains, nor lifted his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel…” Ezekiel 18:15

If one does not defile his neighbor’s wife, he will live. “Nor defiled his neighbor’s wife, nor approached a woman during her impurity;” Ezekiel 18:6b.

God gives life to those who do not defile their neighbor’s spouse or approach a woman during her impurity. The beastly side of the carnal nature is to exploit or manipulate people who seem vulnerable, or who are seen as easy prey. The sin of human nature wants to have what the lust of the eyes desire. With that, that have no empathy or sympathy for the difficulties of others. In that light, women are often preyed upon, taken advantage of, and exploited to satisfy the lust of human desire.

Much violence and lawlessness arise from preying on neighbor’s spouses and due to a lack of empathy for feminine experiences. “Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain.” James 4:1-2 People who prey on neighbor’s spouses and lack empathy for other’s difficulties are the same who are hostile to the presence of the Holy Spirit. They have no love for God and no remorse leading to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin.

Living for God through Jesus Christ, we allow the Holy Spirit to restrain the lust of human desire. In the spirit, we respect the vulnerabilities of others and seek to strengthen the vulnerable in the name of Jesus Christ. When people have difficulties in the flesh, we share compassion, empathy, and sympathy with what they are going through. We want wives and spouses to be strengthened in their relationship with each other, and we want women to be comforted and respected in their feminine experiences. We embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit, love God, and have sin in remission through Jesus Christ.

A parent who has a child who defiles a neighbor’s spouse, the child will die to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. “…defiled his neighbor’s wife;” Ezekiel 18:11 A parent who has a child who has not defiled a neighbor’s spouse, the child will live to God, Jess, and the Holy Spirit. “… nor defiled his neighbor’s wife…” Ezekiel 18:15

If one does not oppress anyone they will live. “If he has not oppressed anyone, but has restored to the debtor his pledge; Has robbed no one by violence, but as given his bread to the hungry and covered the naked with clothing;” Ezekiel 18:7

God will give life to those who do not oppress anyone. The nature of the carnal beastly side of human beings is the desire to dominate, be controlling, and to overpower those they can. They are oppressive. That leads to all types of violent crimes and murders. Jesus Christ has come not to destroy but to save life. As followers of Jesus, we do not feel empowered by taking from others, instead but we want to restore to people everything they were kind enough to share. Those with the beastly desire to overpower others will do so to rob them with violence. They are so self-centered and narcissistic in thinking about themselves that they are neglectful and abusive of those who need food and clothing.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we want people to feel liberated in the spirit to serve God through Jesus Christ and to embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit. If anyone has put themselves out for the sake of showing compassion to us, we want to return that good deed in the name of Jesus Christ. We want people to live as Christ has taught us, as quoted below,

“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.” Luke 6:27-31

Today, we live in a world with a very oppressive entity that has power over physiology and impresses on people what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity oppresses belief in God, oppresses the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and oppresses the presence of the Holy Spirit. Nothing is restored to those who freely give according to the compassion of Christ. As Jesus said, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12 They withhold the bread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and prohibit people wearing the clothing of the Holy Spriit.

The entity that impresses on people what to feel and think enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people. By what they say and do, they come against the image of Christ who lives and speaks through people. People in every city around the world are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

A parent who has child who is a robber, shedder of blood, and oppresses the needy and poor, the child will die to God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “If he begets a son who is a robber or a shedder of blood, who does any of these things...If he has oppressed the poor and needy, robbed by violence, not restored the pledge…” Ezekiel 18:10, 12 A parent who has a child who does not oppress anyone but shares bread and clothing with the needy, the child will live to God, Jesus Christ. and the Holy Spirit. “Has not oppressed anyone, nor withheld a pledge, nor robbed by violence, but has given his bread to the hungry and covered the naked with clothing;” Ezekiel 18:16

If one withdraws from sin and speaks true judgment towards others they will live. “If he has not exacted usury nor taken any increase, but has withdrawn his hand from iniquity and executed true judgment between man and man;” Ezekiel 18:8

To “withdraw the hand” means to have no part in giving or taking from something. To withdraw the hand from iniquity means to have no participation in sin. To withdraw the hand from the poor and needy means to not ask for or take anything away from them. “Exacting usury” or “taking increase” is to give something but expecting it to be returned with more than what was given. For example, giving somebody a pack of porkchops but requiring two packs as repayment. Or giving someone a coat and requiring in return a coat, hat, gloves, and boots. To “execute true judgment” is to not favor one person over another when deciding right or wrong.

Those who live by the beastly carnal nature of inherited sin are prone to using people for their own personal gain. They see people as an object to use to enrich themselves, like an ATM machine. The abusers know which buttons to push to get what they want, and often resort to violence. They see the Holy Spirit as someone to manipulate and who can be easily manipulated by pulling on the heart strings. They seek to increase themselves at the expense of others by exacting usury and taking any increase. They have their hands occupied in sin and are parasites leeching on easy targets who have something they want. Their judgments are bent in favor of those who can benefit them the most.

We live in a world where people have been dehumanized and the worth of the human spirit and soul has been discarded. The human spirit and conscience have been replaced by the entity that gives people what to think, feel, do, and say. This is done to enable the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. As a global culture, they exact usury and take increase from those who are not part of their social network. Their society prospers as dissenters become impoverished. They have their hand in sin as they take away from belief in God, take advantage of us who acknowledge the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and they exploit the presence of the Holy Spirit. They judge in favor of those who live for the anti-Christian culture and against those who do not. Masses of people around the world are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

A parent who has a child who takes advantage of others to prosper self, the child will die to God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “If he has exacted usury or taken increase— Shall he then live?” Ezekiel 18:13a. A parent who has a child who lives by the word of God, the child will live to God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “Who has withdrawn his hand from the poor and not received usury or increase, but has executed My judgments and walked in My statutes— He shall not die for the iniquity of his father; He shall surely live!” Ezekiel 18:17

If one walks in the word of God, they will live. “If he has walked in My statutes and kept My judgments faithfully—He is just; He shall surely live!” Says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 18:9

Before the coming of Jesus Christ, walking in the statutes of God and keeping His judgments meant living by the laws of the Old Testament. After the coming of Jesus, walking in His statutes and keeping His judgments comes through the Spirit. “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Galatians 5:18 A Pharisee came to Jesus, a keeper of God’s statutes and His judgments, and Jesus sad to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” John 3:5 Being born again through Jesus Christ makes a person just in the eyes of God, and that person will be given eternal life. “Says the Lord God.”

Today, the Jewish people are not justified in the eyes of God because they reject the will of God for them to receive Jesus Christ. This is what Jesus has said to the Jewish people, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.” John 8:44 Those who believe in Him will be recognized as the children of God, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13

This is the covenant God made through Jesus Chrit with everyone in the world, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 Those who live for God through Jesus Christ will live.

A parent who has a child who commits abominations against God, the child will die to God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “He shall not live! If he has done any of these abominations, He shall surely die; His blood shall be upon him.” Ezekiel 18:13b. A child who does not follow the sin of the parents will live to God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “If, however, he begets a son who sees all the sins which his father has done, and considers but does not do likewise;” Ezekiel 18:14 Parents who are unfaithful to God will die to Him, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, robbed his brother by violence, and did what is not good among his people, behold, he shall die for his iniquity.” Ezekiel 18:18

Each child and parent are individually responsible to God through Jesus Christ.
“Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear the guilt of the father?’ Because the son has done what is lawful and right, and has kept all My statutes and observed them, he shall surely live. The soul who sins shall die. Ezekiel 18:19

The Jewish people had a practice of considering a whole group of people to be cursed and guilty of sin according to their family tree. For example, Canaan was cursed because of his father’s sin against Noah, Genesis 9:18-27.

The soul who sins will die and the one who lives for God through Jesus Christ will live. Each individual person has their own soul and has a choice to make concerning living in God through Jesus, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.” Ezekiel 18:19-20

God does not hold the children accountable for the sin of their parents and the parents are not accountable for the sin of their children. Each individual who lives for Jesus Christ is righteous in the eyes of God, and each individual who rejects Jesus is living in sin in the eyes of God. When Jesus Christ atoned for sin, it was not for the whole world as a single unit, it was for each individual person in the world known as the whosoever, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

A right relationship with God comes by the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ.
Turning from sin to live for God through Jesus Christ brings life. “But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.” Ezekiel 18:21

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13

God forgets our sin as we live for His Son Jesus Christ. “None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live.” Ezekiel 18:22

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Hebrews 8:12 Jesus said, “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36

God does not desire the death of the wicked but wants them to live. “Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?” Ezekiel 18:23

God sent His Son Jesus Christ to give life to whoever believes in Him. He did not come to destroy but to save, Jesus said, “For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” Luke 9:56 This is what this verse is all about, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17

Those who turn away from God are not numbered among the children of God. “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.” Ezekiel 18:24

Judas Iscariot turned away from the righteousness he received through Jesus Christ, he betrayed Jesus, died a horrible physical death, was discarded from the righteousness as an Apostle of Christ, and will live in the fire of eternal hell.

  1. Judas was one of the twelve disciples of Jesus and given the power to cast out unclean spirits, to heal sickness and disease, raise the dead, and to preach the Gospel of Christ. Matthew 10:1-8
  2. Judas turned away from Jesus and betrayed Him for thirty pieces of silver, Matthew 26:14-16.
  3. Judas hung himself after his betrayal of Jesus, Matthew 27:3-5.
  4. Judas place among the Apostles was made desolate, Acts 1:15-20
  5. Judas will live eternally in hell, “But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 10:33

God’s forgiveness of sin and His judgment against sin is fair.
The righteousness of human beings is filthiness compared to that of God’s. “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair?’ Ezekiel 18:25

Jesus Christ says, “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20

The Jewish people thought God’s way of judging sin was unfair. God judges ech person individually according to their relationship to Him. However, God says it is unfair to judge an entire group, or nationality of people, based on one or two people. The Holy Spirit speaks these words to us, “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:26-29

Turning away from Jesus Christ causes a person to die in their sin. “When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies.” Ezekiel 18:26

When a person leaves of living for Jesus Christ, they are grieving the Holy Spirit, and the love of God is not living within them. When a person turns away from the Spirit, then sin arises and the person focuses on the ways of the world, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” 1 John 2:15-16

Jesus says, “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:6 Without Jesus Christ, there is no remission of sin, and the Holy Spirit no longer fills the spirit and soul of a person. Sin dries up the soul and causes a person to wither spiritually, which leads to an eternal destiny in the fire of hell.

“Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.” James 1:15 The entity that gives people what to feel, think, say, and do, enflames feelings of sensual desires. That is the most basic desire of the carnal nature of human beings. When birth is given to carnal desires, a person begins to die to God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. In that instance, the entity that gives people what to think and feel is able to enliven the image of the beast to live and speak through them. People in every city around the world conform to the anti-Christian culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

Turning to Jesus Christ for the remission of sin brings life. “Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.” Ezekiel 18:27-28

Every person in this world has inherited sin and falls short of the glory that belongs to God. God has provided a way for us to turn from our spiritual wickedness to humbly live for Him. He has given His Son Jesus Christ who has atoned for sin, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 In one verse, this verse is the message God sent to us, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit…” John 15:4-5 When we abide in Jesus Christ, we are given the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit blossoms through our spirit. Abiding in Jesus reconciles us to the Spirit of God and makes us righteous in His sight. Jesus says, “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.” John 15:9-10

The judgment of God comes against the house of Israel.
The house of Israel complains against the will of God who gives them Jesus Christ. “Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair? Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 18:29-30

The Jewish people will be judged by Jesus Christ, even though they reject Him as their Savior. God has given all judgment into the hands of His Son, Jesus. “For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:22-24

When the Jewish people rejected Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, they exalted their own culture over the will of God. As a consequence, God gathered the Jewish people to their own land, the State of Israel. That is where God unleashes the wrath of His judgment on them. As Christians, they would not have a nation on this earth to call their own because our nation is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth. We who live for Jesus Christ inherit eternal life.

There is a judgment coming beyond the grave after life on this earth is over. Each person will be judged by Jesus Christ, according to the deeds we have done. “The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:13-15 We must all repent of our sin by coming to Jesus Christ. Sin is what separates us from God, so we want to repent of that and start walking with God through Jesus.

God urges the Jewish people to repent to escape their ruin. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.” Ezekiel 18:30

As followers of Jesus Christ, the message we have been given to share is the same as that of John the Baptist. This is a message for all people to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ, “‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord,” John 1:23 Each person is to repent and turn from sin so that we will not fall into the ruin of eternal condemnation but instead inherit eternal life. “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord…” Acts 3:19

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:19

“Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?” Ezekiel 18:31

Jesus Christ gave His life on the Cross to atone for our sin to wash us of the sinful past. Although the anti-Christian culture of this world does not forget or forgive the terrible things about us, God does, as quoted below,

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?” Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel. Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.” And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.” Zachariah 3:1-5

Jesus Christ puts a new heart and spirit within us through the Holy Spirit to give us life, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” Ezekiel 36:26-27

God wants to grant the house of Israel life. “For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:32

God sent His Son Jesus Christ so that we would not die but have eternal life. Whoever believes in Him will turn and live. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
