I know how scary life is when being a decent human being through the Spirit of Jesus Christ. I have numerous memories relating to those things. My Dad had a pacemaker put in, but while in the hospital he raised his left arm too high, and it was pulled from his heart. They had to do another surgery. All the time in the hospital he’s singing “One glad morning I’ll fly away.” He never let down his testimony for Jesus Christ, he just wanted to go to his eternal home. The stories go on and on of those having a testimony for Jesus Christ and suffer various health tortures. We are living in the days of the mark of the beast and there isn’t any compassion within the human robots for those who reject the mark. At times, it scares me to know that the era of afflictions and persecutions are beginning. With every new health appointment that I have it’s scary wondering what’s it gonna be next. God gives me this word, “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” Hebrews 10:36-37
Matthew 14 corresponds to what I wrote. Jesus heard of the beheading of John the Baptist, His cousin. He left that area but kept-on-keeping-on with His healings and compassion. The fierce storms scared His disciples though, and I can understand that. But Jesus came to them walking on the water, and Peter tried to also, but the winds terrified Him too much. The news about Jesus kept spreading and spreading. For me, the Word of God is no longer just a lesson that I learned in Sunday school, it’s a stark reality. Jesus Christ is coming soon, and those who are victorious over the mark of the beast will have a forever home in the New Jerusalem. Jesus Christ says, “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done” Revelation 22:12
