Cunning deception and persuasion by the false angel of light. “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” Genesis 3:1
The serpent, more cunning than any other beast of the field, seemed to have power and persuasion over all the animals of the land. Satan, who masquerades as an angel of light, used the persuasive serpent as his instrument. “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15
The serpent knew that God had given the command not to eat from every tree to Adam before Eve joined him as his wife. Eve only heard the command from Adam, not from God directly, when the serpent questioned her about it. As quoted, “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Genesis 2:16-18
Many people worldwide may know something about God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, but they lack a connection with them in their spirit and soul. This is like Eve, who only heard God’s word from Adam and not from God Himself. They are susceptible to the modern serpent’s false persuasion, which pretends to be an angel of light and whose followers disguise themselves as righteous ministers. We need to listen to God directly through the Gospel of Christ with ears attuned to the Holy Spirit.
A modern serpent, more cunning than any animal, is Satan’s instrument today. It takes over the human nature’s beastly side and rules by appealing to its instincts. The image and mark of the beast serve this purpose. They are like a leash on the fleshly beast. In this world, an entity gives people what to feel, think, say, and do. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city across the globe. The mark of the beast is like a shackle that binds people to the sway of the modern serpent.
The global government may claim to restrain the beastly instincts of humanity, but in reality, it is using the beast as a tool to govern the masses. This is the essence of the government of the beast. People’s thoughts and emotions are dictated to suppress their carnal instincts, rendering their human conscience useless. This leads to the emergence of traits of psychopathy in every city across the globe.
The people of the beast’s global culture are self-centered and feel empowered as they exalt their own will above the authority of God the Creator. They do not experience guilt or remorse and reject the idea that they are sinners who need Jesus Christ to forgive their sins. They treat the Holy Spirit as a thing to be controlled, exploited, coerced, and destroyed. Lawlessness and anti-social behavior pervade the world, showing no empathy for human beings. The global government derives its power and authority from the cunning serpent who rules over the beast.
The forbidden fruit of sin and death is not to be eaten nor touched. “And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’” Genesis 3:2-3
If there was a Christmas tree in the Garden of Eden this would be the one. The ornaments and candy canes on a Christmas tree are so enticing that children can hardly resist touching or eating them, even when their parents forbid it. There is always a temptation to peek at the gifts under the tree, and someone who tries to convince or dare others to do so. Our parents also gave us many other treats and fruits that we can eat as we please.
God prohibited Adam and Eve from eating or touching the fruit of a certain tree in the Garden of Eden, for it would cause them to die. This command reveals that God’s commands have both a literal and a spiritual meaning. Eating the fruit did not cause Adam and Eve to die physically right away, but it did cause them to die spiritually in that instant. At the same time, they were originally meant to live forever in the Garden of Eden, but their fate changed when they ate the fruit and were destined to die a physical death.
Because Adam and Eve sinned, we all face physical death as their descendants. We also fail to live up to God’s original plan for us, as we are all sinners. “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—” Romans 5:12 Today, sinning causes us to lose our spiritual life and contributes to the ruin and tribulation of this world and the coming of the Day of the Lord. Just as sin and death originated from Adam, salvation and eternal life are granted through Jesus Christ. “But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.” Romans 5:15
We are tempted by worldly offerings to eat the fruit that God has forbidden. Although people may have different opinions on what constitutes worldly sins, they all share one common root. That root is disobedience to God. “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” 1 Corinthians 6:12 A sin is an act of defiance against God, who created us, or a refusal to accept the forgiveness that Jesus Christ offers for our sins, or a mockery of the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us. The source of manipulation and deception that influences people’s emotions, thoughts, actions, and words is surely offering the forbidden fruit. The forbidden fruit is anything that separates us from the Holy Trinity.
Deceivers try to “enlighten” those whose faith is not in the Spirit and soul. “Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:4-5
Some people attempt to distort God’s word into falsehood. “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.” Romans 1:24-25 That is why we need to let the Gospel of Christ live in our spirit and soul by the Holy Spirit, so that we can live by the Spirit and not by the flesh.
The serpent deceives people by posing as a righteous teacher and distorting God’s word with persuasive and convincing arguments. Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:15-16 They are widespread among the churchgoers. The Holy Spirit says through the Apostle Paul, “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8
Through the Apostle Paul, the Holy Spirit clarifies the Gospel of Christ to us, “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 The Gospel is also explained like this, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
A modern-day serpent tempts people to cause their spiritual demise by offering them the fruit that enlightens them with extraordinary knowledge and keen insight. The entity which has power over physiology influences people’s feelings and thoughts, which makes them feel extraordinarily knowledgeable, remarkably enlightened, and highly intuitive. The human conscience is replaced by this entity, leading to the emergence of traits of psychopathy. They think they are godlike as they exalt their own will above God’s authority. They are so self-centered that they do not feel any guilt or remorse and do not think they need Jesus Christ to forgive their sins. They treat the Holy Spirit as an object to be oppressed, controlled, exploited, dominated, and destroyed.
Without God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as their moral guides, people attempt to navigate life by their own standards of good and evil. That is the definition of humanism, which is the fig leaf worn by the thing promising empowerment through uncanny knowledge, humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”
The global government is pursuing its vision of a Garden of Eden on Earth, following the objectives of the United Nations, based on its own moral standards. Humanism serves as the fig leaf worn by the global culture of the beast by using righteous-sounding words to hide their intentions. For example, abortion is called “Health Care” or “Reproductive Rights” and the promotion of LGBQT+ lifestyles is done under the “Respect for Marriage Act”. The entity empowering people with uncanny knowledge and enlightenment enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people across the globe. People everywhere adopt the global culture and are groomed to the mark of the beast by their words and actions.
A powerful illusion of the entity that has power over physiology to form feelings and thoughts is to assure people that they will survive eating the serpent’s fruit of enlightenment and knowledge. People are filled with artificial emotions, endowed with remarkable talents and abilities, gifted with incredible physical prowess and performance, enhanced in their health, and enriched in their knowledge and intuition. They experience a sense of liveliness, comfort, and escapism from the soul-crushing spiritual death that plagues them.
Pleasant external appearances and desirable knowledge is not necessarily of God. “So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” Genesis 3:6
Eve succumbed to the serpent’s temptation, which targeted the physical senses and carnal desires of the flesh as usual. The forbidden fruit appealed to her as food, was pleasant to look at, and gave her uncanny knowledge and enlightenment. She gave her husband, Adam, the forbidden fruit of sin and death to eat and since humankind has been exposed to the consequences. Temptations in life are appealing at first, but they can lead to regrettable outcomes once we give in to them. The Holy Spirit urges us to pay attention to the inner person rather than the external looks, “For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
Our five senses are limited by the physical realm and cannot perceive the spiritual. They may tempt us to indulge in worldly pleasures, but the Spirit can help us resist such allurements. For example, a Christmas tree may look and smell pleasant and hold a lot of gifts under the branches, but the true meaning of Christmas lies in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Christmas is not meant to be shared according to our physical senses, but the Spirit of the season is meant to be shared through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God…” Romans 8:6-7
Eve sought wisdom by what she saw through her natural senses, but the wisdom of God differs greatly from the wisdom of this world, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” 1 Corinthians 3:19-20 and James 3:17-18
The awareness of sinning against God follows by covering with fig leaves. “Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.” Genesis 3:7
Adam and Eve were created with only the knowledge of good. After consuming the fruit that gave them the knowledge of good and evil, they also became aware of evil. With that awareness of sin, they had to cover themselves. An example of the United Nations and its global culture wearing a fig leaf is calling the killing of the unborn “Health Care” or “Reproductive Rights” and promoting the LGBQT+ lifestyles through the “Respect for Marriage Act” and on and on. By wearing the fig leaf over their agenda, the global government is aware of their nakedness.
As soon as they ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve realized they were sinners who needed to cover the behavior of their carnal nature. They made fig leaves for their covering. There is no turning back the clocks to where “all’s good”. We cannot pretend that sin does not exist or overlook it, sin is rooted within the beastly nature of the human being. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve did not have any children. All the births that occurred in this world happened after they were thrown out of Eden, so every person has been born into sin. “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” Romans 3:23
The global government is using the fig leaves of humanism as covering for its global culture. The fig leaf of today’s global culture is covering the entity that gives people what to feel, think, say and do. Its purpose is to legitimize, normalize, and standardize the behavior of the beastly human nature. It does that by enabling the image of the beast to live and speak through people around the world. They depend on controlling what people say and do to tame the primal nature, rather than coming to Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. The canned or harnessed nature of the beast shapes the global culture instead of the Spirit of Christ.
People everywhere adapt to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. They deny the existence of sin and resent being called sinners who need Jesus Christ to forgive their sins.
The sin of humanity results in trying to hide from God. “And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.” Genesis 3:8
After Adam and Eve realized their sin and their separation from God’s will, they heard the sound of God in the Garden during the “cool of the day”. They sought refuge among the garden’s trees. The phrase “cool of the day” means the time when the wind started to blow or when it was breezy.
Living in the Holy Spirit by receiving forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ is being in God’s will. This Holiness helps us to love and respect each other and God’s creation of earth, which He entrusted us to care for. Sin disrupts our relationship with God and His will, and affects humanity, the planet, and all living creatures. Because of our sinfulness, we avoid God’s presence and seek refuge in what is left of His original creation. This has led humanity to worship the creation more than the Creator. “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Romans 1:24-25
Hiding in the dark is a common strategy to avoid detection. Similarly, sinful humanity tries to evade God by rejecting Jesus Christ, the Light of the World. “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12 The world government and its global culture suppress the Light by excluding the Gospel of Christ from the churches, excluding the values of the Bible from legislation, banning the teachings of the Bible from the educational system, and being unwelcoming to Christianity in every sector of life. They are avoiding God. “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19
The world government and its global culture are hiding in the trees behind the pretense of restoring the Garden of Eden. The United Nations aims to rebuild human relationships and heal the earth’s environment, including its vegetation, oceans, and ecosystem. However, they are attempting this without acknowledging God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit. They are following the principles of humanism in the effort to return to the Garden of Eden. Humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”
Global warming, which is a serious threat to the world and the government of the United Nations, cannot be solved by collective human action. The United Nations now call it global boiling, but the worst is yet to come. The more the United Nations consolidates its power as a one world government, the more severe and intense global warming becomes. This is because global warming is the Fourth Plague sent by God. “Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” Revelation 16:8-9
Humanism is the fig leaf worn by the entity that gives people their emotions, thoughts, actions, and words. The global government gains power and authority from the masses who accept its presence in their lives. It animates the image of the beast to live and speak through people across the globe. The global culture opposes the light of Christ within Christianity, and they are groomed to the mark of the beast by their words and actions.
As the world today conceals the concept of sin and sinners and worships the creation more than the Creator, a powerful wind is starting to blow. It is the wind of anti-social behavior, lawlessness, and indifference to human beings. This causes global unrest, the Battle of Armageddon, and finally the Day of the Lord. “And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.” Mark 4:37
God seeks us through Jesus Christ while we are still sinners. “Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” Genesis 3:9
God was aware of Adam’s location and still asked him, “Where are you?” The purpose of the question was to elicit a reply from Adam so that he would expose his condition to God after his fall. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 Everyone has inherited sin, and God calls everyone through Jesus Christ.
God is aware of our location, our sinful nature, and our separation from Him due to sin, “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” Romans 3:23 Despite our separation from God because of the inherited sin, He still calls out to us, “Where are you?” Will we come out of hiding and admit that we are sinners in need of Jesus Christ to remit our sin? “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Jesus Christ came to find and rescue those who were lost so that we can praise Him who brought us from darkness to His wonderful light, “…for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost…that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light…” Luke 19:10, 1 Peter 2:9
God shows His love for us in sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us when we were still sinners, ““For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8
In the garden of the Holy Spirit, we hear His voice. “So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” Genesis 3:10
Our spirit and soul have a garden that is ready to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a seed. The Holy Spirit nurtures us in that garden as we listen to God’s voice through the testimony of Jesus. “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Hebrews 3:15 Sin blocks that garden with rocks and thorns, making it seem impossible for our human spirit to join with Christ’s Spirit. Let us be among those who say, “I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses and the voice I hear falling on my ear the Son of God discloses.” Church Song.
We may feel ashamed of our sinful past and avoid God, but He is merciful and gracious. “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men…” Titus 2:11 “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” Romans 2:4 As followers of our Lord Jesus, we have this song to sing, “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found was blind, but now I see” Church Hymn.
In this world, there is an entity working within people’s physiology and makes them live in fear of God’s voice. It gives people their feelings, thoughts, words and actions. It replaces the human conscience as it enables the image of the beast to animate to live and speak through people. Therefore, the world is filled with traits of psychopathy used to make people afraid of following the Bible’s teachings.
The global culture has become self-centered and feel empowered to exalt their own will over those who want to live by the authority of God. They show no regret or conscience as they intimidate people from seeking Jesus Christ’s mercy for their sins. Their goal is to spread terror among the peaceful and humble followers of the Holy Spirit, whom they regard as easy targets for exploitation, oppression, deception, and murder. “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” Isaiah 41:10
“Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling
Calling for you and for me
See on the portals, He’s waiting and watching
Watching for you and for me
Come home, come home
Ye who are weary come home
(Church Hymn)
The global culture of the beast covers their true nature, but who told them they were naked? “And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” Genesis 3:11
We inherited the knowledge of good and evil, sin and Holiness, from the original sin of eating the forbidden fruit. Adam enjoyed a flawless bond with God before the fall, and evil did not exist, only good. He defied God’s will by eating the forbidden fruit, which brought evil and sin into the world and gave him the knowledge of both good and evil. Adam ate the fruit that brought sin and death. The separation from God was felt along with the awareness of the nakedness of sin. Adam became aware of his sinfulness, which he had never experienced before. He handed down the sinful nature and estrangement from God to humanity.
The global government and its global culture use humanism as the fig leaf to cover the nakedness of their true nature. Humanism prioritizes human beings over God, the Creator. They dress the nakedness of killing the unborn by calling it “Reproductive Rights” or “health Care” and they dress the nakedness of the promotion of the LGBQT+ lifestyles as the “Respect for Marriage Act”. They understand that their true nature, stripped of all pretenses, is unacceptable to the decency of a civilized society. The question for them is, “Who told you that you were naked?”
The global culture of the beast is hiding the nakedness of their true motives against God. They secretly made a world that rejects the will of God the Creator, but who exposed their true nature to them and made them conceal it? They hide their plan of eliminating the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which exposes our sinfulness and our need for Jesus Christ. But who taught them to disguise their real nature? They conceal their animosity toward the Holy Spirit, whom they regard as a target of oppression, manipulation, exploitation, and murder. But who revealed their shame and made them cover their nakedness? As the scripture says, they love the darkness more than light, “…the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19
Open conversations about the entity that gives people what to feel, think, say and do is hidden from the public by the global government and its pervasive culture. What made them decide to keep it a secret? The Bible says, “….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’“ Revelation 2:24-25 NIV It allows the image of the beast to come alive and speak through people, but they resist the light of honest and open dialogues about it. Who instructed them to hide it? In every city around the world, people are conforming to the global culture and being groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. However, they are hiding the true nature of their social network. Who told them that they were naked?
The root of sin is by the working of Satan, and we are all equally responsible to God. “Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.” And the Lord God said to the woman “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” Genesis 3:12-13
Ever since sin entered the world, people started accusing and blaming each other. The man blamed the woman, the woman blamed the serpent, and none of them felt accountable to God for their own actions.
Satan is the root of sin involving blame and accusations that plagues humanity. The serpent creates discord and resentment among people, who point fingers at each other instead of seeking reconciliation. This is exactly what Satan wants. “Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him…Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.” Zechariah 3:1, 3
As time progresses, the accusations from person to person become more severe within the global culture of the beast, “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 10:21-22
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, came not to accuse or condemn us, but to rescue us from divisions, discord, and violence and to grant us eternal life. “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17 The Lord reproves those who condemn the sinner, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?” 2 Zechariah 3:1-2
We are powerless to save ourselves from the sinful nature that afflicts us, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 Jesus Christ overcomes sin and death, not human beings. “But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.” “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” (1 Corinthians 15:57 and John 8:36)
The global culture of the beast manifests with accusations and blame towards others. This culture is driven by an entity that gives people their feelings, thoughts, words, and actions, and supplants the human conscience. Consequently, traits of psychopathy are widespread in cities around the world. They accuse others because of their self-centered views that put their own desires above God’s will and other people’s existence. They accuse others with a lack remorse, guilt, or empathy. They do not acknowledge their faults or mistakes or seek Jesus Christ’s forgiveness for their sin. They see the Holy Spirit as their target of accusations and blame, and to manipulate, extort, exploit, deceive and murder. Lawlessness and anti-social behaviors fill the world without empathy for human beings.
The serpent of Satan is made an earthworm to eat the dust of the earth. “So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.” Genesis 3:14
The serpent was the most cunning of all the creatures that lived on the earth. However, its cleverness caused its ruin, and it was cursed more than any other beast of the field. The serpent manipulated and deceived humans into thinking they could become like gods. It was the serpent who changed the glory of God into corruptible humanity. God’s truth was traded for a lie and humankind became fools in their own wisdom. As a punishment, the serpent became an earthworm that had to eat dirt for the rest of its days. We can imagine the curse of being an earthworm in a field roaming with the hoofs of cattle and every other type of animal feet.
The global culture of this world has made humanism their creed, believing that human wisdom surpasses God’s wisdom. Humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.” They worship and serve the creature human being rather than God the Creator.
The entity that influences people’s thoughts, emotions, actions and words is Satan’s modern-day serpent. This entity uses humanism as the fig leaf to cover itself and will face total destruction like the serpent thrown to the ground as a worm to eat dirt. This modern-day serpent enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. We can already see its downfall as it lives on the dust of sin while undermining the will of God for His creation and discarding the need for Jesus Christ who forgives sin.
The serpent intends to oppress, deceive, and kill the Holy Spirit as It breeds lawlessness and antisocial behavior without any regard for human life. The global culture does not have the Water of Life to hydrate and cultivate the fruit of the Spirit, they live on the dust of sin. People everywhere conform to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
“Professing to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” Romans 1:22-25
The global government is being tossed down like an earthworm thrown into the heat of the day. Global warming is here and the more powerful the United Nations become as a one world government the more intense the heat of global warming becomes. Global warming is the Fourth Plague sent by God in Revelation 16:8-9. Global warming contributes to the collapse of the power center of the beast (Fifth Plague of Revelation 16:10-11), which renders powerless the global government of the beast. The power center is the entity that gives people of the global culture their feelings, thoughts, words, and actions. When the global government loses its power, the Battle of Armageddon will take place, as described in the Sixth Plague of Revelation 16:12-17.
Jesus Christ, born of a woman, is the nemesis of Satan. “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:15
The Lord said that He would put opposition between the serpent and the woman, and between the serpent’s offspring and her offspring. The opposition is Jesus Christ who comes between the global culture of the beast (the serpent’s seed) and Christianity (the woman’s seed, like the virgin Mary, and all who are born of the Spirit).
Jesus Christ inevitably destroys Satan. Satan, who has no more power to resist God, has had his head bruised by Jesus. Our Lord Jesus conquered sin and death on the Cross, where He made a sacrifice for sin. The sin that plagues the world wounded the heel of Jesus Christ, which is a symbol of His suffering soul.
Satan dreaded seeing the virgin birth that brought Jesus Christ into the world as the Son of God. Jesus would be the pure Lamb of God who would offer the ultimate sacrifice for sin. “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:18 Satan harbors hatred for the woman who bore his adversary and the world’s Savior. Satan hates the womb that gives life to Christian births. Satan also despises Jesus Christ, who overcame his outpouring of sin and death.
These verses show the hatred Satan has for the woman’s seed and Jesus Christ, as he tries to destroy Jesus at his birth. “Then Herod…sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under…” Matthew 2:16-17
The global culture reflects Satan’s hostility towards Jesus Christ. Instead of following God, people are influenced by an entity that usurps God’s role and gives them their feelings, thoughts, actions, and words. People no longer bear the image of Christ, but rather the image of the beast that speaks and acts through them. Satan uses deception, false doctrines, and false impressions to make people conform to the anti-Christian global culture and groom them to the mark of the beast by their words and deeds.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are His seed, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (Matthew 15:18-19 1 Corinthians 15:57-58)
The Lord describes the woman’s fate after the fall into sin. “To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be toward your husband, and he shall rule over you.” Genesis 3:16
After sin came into the world, the Lord said that the woman would have pain when she gave birth and that her husband would rule over her. Eve did not have any children in the Garden of Eden, so every birth ever born in this world came with labor pains. Cain and Abel were the very first children ever born.
Today, there is an entity in this world with power over physiology and is able to ease the pain of childbirth. This entity blasphemes God, discards the need for Jesus Christ, and oppresses the Holy Spirit. Only women can attest whether their pain is taken away during childbirth or not. The entity that has the ability to ease pain is the same that gives people what to feel, say, think, and do. It enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people. Masses of women around the world conform to the global culture for the physiological benefits and are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
We know that God wants our focus to be more on the Spirit and less on the physical. In that spiritual light, we know that this present world makes it extremely difficult and painful to give birth to Christians by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Click here for a post from Revelation 12 on the extinction of Christian births.
Christianity, based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Bible, is the nemesis of the global government of the beast. Christians want to have the type of spiritual births that make the body the temple of the Holy Spirit. “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 The global culture seeks to eliminate Christian births so that people’s bodies can be the home of the non-spiritual entity that gives people their feelings, thoughts, words, and actions, “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 The “him” in that verse refers to the “man of sin”. Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. There is a battle for the soul of humankind, “And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:16
God gave the woman a desire for her husband and made him head of the woman, or in other words, “For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church…” Ephesians 5:23 The global government of the beast has altered this role and aims to make women the dominant leaders of society. They think that the nature of women is less prone to aggression and their leadership over men would guarantee peace and security worldwide. In other words, they rely on human efforts and disregard the teachings of the Bible. They totally discard the idea that the only victory over inherited sin is through Jesus Christ who puts sin in remission.
The global culture has also eliminated the gospel of Jesus Christ from the churches to remove Christ as the head. The churches are expected to serve the entity that gives people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. The same entity that empowers women over men.
This verse refers to the beast that is the power and authority of the global government of the beast. “And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.” Revelation 13:5-7 He operates through the entity giving people what to feel, think, say, and do.
The Lord describes the man’s fate after the fall into sin. “Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’” Genesis 3:17a.
Adam’s fate was the consequence of heeding his wife and eating the forbidden fruit. God had personally instructed Adam not to eat from a specific tree. Adam, however, disobeyed God and followed his wife. As followers of Jesus Christ, we should prioritize the word of God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ over anyone else, even a wife. Likewise, ministers of the Gospel should prioritize the Gospel of Christ over the wishes of the congregation and over any entity that gives people their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, words, and actions.
“Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. Genesis 3:17b-18
When we observe the nearby yards, the open fields, and the farmlands, we notice many thorns, bristles, weeds, and so on. These are all consequences of Adam’s sin. On this earth where thistles and thorns abound, we consume what sprouts amid the difficult land, like sorting the wheat from the chaff or the husks from the cob. It requires a lot of sweat and toil to put bread on the table. In the Garden of Eden, the land was so beautiful, pure, and clean that there was no need to sort out the good from the bad or the valuable from the worthless.
God desires us to perceive with spiritual eyes and understand that our spirit and soul have been tainted by sin’s thorns and thistles. Nowadays, the curse of sin is embedded in human nature, and we labor arduously to sow the seed of the Gospel of Christ. Jesus gave us the parable of the sower in Matthew 23:1-13.
“In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” Genesis 3:19
As we interpret this verse spiritually, Jesus Christ identified Himself as the Bread of Life and instructed us to prioritize the nourishment of our souls over the satisfaction of our appetites. “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4 “And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” John 6:35 Finding that spiritual nourishment today requires hard work, as the Gospel of Christ has been abandoned by the churches, the government lawmakers have ignored the values of the Bible in their policies, the schools have excluded the teachings of the Bible from the classrooms, and the Bread of Life is hardly present in any sector of society.
In today’s world, under the rule of the government of the beast, we know how hard it is to nourish ourselves with the Bread of Life and it will be that way until our last breath. The global culture embraces the entity that gives them their feelings, thoughts, words and actions, as it animates the image of the beast to speak and live through them. They abhor the Bread of Life and make it very hard for us to feed our spirit and soul with the gospel of Christ. This anti-Christian global culture will persist until the end of this world’s system. All over the world, people adopt the global culture and oppose the Bread of Life, while they are groomed to the mark of the beast by their words and actions.
Eve received the title of the mother of all life. “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.” Genesis 3:20
The first human life came from Eve, who began the proliferation of humankind, thus she is the mother of all living. Eve did not have any children in the Garden of Eden, where she and Adam lived without sin. After they disobeyed God’s will and suffered the consequences of sin and death, they had children who inherited the sinful nature. All people who have ever been born into this world have inherited the nature of sin and have fallen short of God’s glory.
Jesus Christ was born from the lineage of Eve so where does that put Him in relation to inherited sin? Jesus Christ was born by the Spirit of God and not by the tainted genetics of sin. Jesus broke the cycle of sin. “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:18 Just as Adam’s sin was passed down to all of humanity, we can be reconciled with God through Jesus Christ, who never knew sin. “For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.” Romans 5:17
Despite their sinful nature, many descendants of Eve among the Israelites were faithful to God even before the Ten Commandments were given. Abel, Noah, Lot, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses for example. To guide them on their way to the promised land, God eventually gave them the Ten Commandments. The birth of Jesus Christ came through the lineage of those who were faithful to God, and many of those people are mentioned in Hebrews 11. Being faithful to God is equivalent to being faithful to Jesus Christ, “For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.” 1 Corinthians 10:4-5. This refers to when Moses struck the rock and brought forth water for the congregation to drink in Numbers 20:7-13.
Genesis 5 records the descendants of Adam and Eve, and we can track the lineage of Jesus Christ all the way back to Adam, as Luke 3:23-38 records this genealogy. Shem is one of three sons of Noah who repopulated the earth after the flood, but he is the only son of Noah mentioned in the genealogy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Cain and Abel were the first sons of Eve. After Cain killed Abel, Seth was born to them. Seth’s son was Enosh, who had a son named Cainan. Cainan’s son was Mahalalel, who had a son named Jared. Jared’s son was Enoch, who had a son named Methuselah. Methuselah’s son was Lamech, who had a son named Noah. Noah’s three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, repopulated the world after the flood.
“And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” 1 Corinthians 15:45
The very first animal sacrifice to clothe Adam and Eve relates to Jesus Christ atoning for sin. Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21
Adam and Eve tried to hide their nakedness with fig leaves, but God provided them with animal skins instead. The fig leaves represent human efforts to cover sin but the animal skin represents the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to atone for sin. The righteousness of humankind is dirty rags compared to the righteousness of God. In the words of the Holy Spirit, spoken by Zachariah, “Take away the filthy garments from him. ”And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.” Zachariah 3:4
The animal skins symbolize the first animal sacrifice to cover for sin which foreshadows the Lamb of God who shed His blood on the cross to atone for our sin. This is what the “scarlet cord” in the Old Testament refers to: Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world. The fig leaves that Adam and Eve made represent humankind’s own attempt to cover sin without the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.” Romans 9:16
The global government of the beast has fashioned fig leaves to cover itself, which is humanism. Humanism relies on humankind’s own understanding of good and evil, as they reject the need for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to forgive sin, as quoted, humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”
Humanism is the clothing worn by the entity giving people what to feel, think, say and do. That entity animates the image of the beast to live and speak through people across the globe instead of relying on the image of Christ within the spirit and soul. People conform to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
Humanity has been put out of the Garden to live in the world’s fallen condition. “Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil.” Genesis 3:22a.
“The man” refers to Adam and Eve both, as all through the Bible the word “man” mostly refers to humankind.
In this verse, the “Us” refers to the Trinity, including God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The first humans were created with the knowledge of good only and were unaware of any evil. When humankind decides they know the difference between good and evil without God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, they make their life worse. Humankind cannot be like the Godhead, but they have attempted to be like God and live without His Holiness.
This world uses humanism as a compass to distinguish good and evil, which is the fig leaf worn by the entity that gives people what to think, feel, do, and say. Humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”
“The Lord God banished him from the garden of Eden, so that he would not reach out his hand and eat from the tree of life, and live forever.” Genesis 3:22b-23a.
Considering the sinful nature of humankind, we should praise God for his mercy of removing eternal life from this earth. Imagine how much worse the world would be if sin-plagued and destructive humans could live forever. They would surely be unfit for a place as pure as the Garden of Eden. Although we lost eternal life through sin and death, the cycle of birth and death slows the destruction of humankind and the planet. New generations of people replace the old generations of people, bringing some hope and change. That is one of God’s ways to shorten the days of humankind and ease their suffering at the same time.
Banishing humankind from eternal life and Heaven on earth is seen in other ways as well. Genesis 6 (Click here for a post on Genesis 6) reveals to us that humankind had so polluted the earth with the corruption of sin that God had to shorten their days, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” Genesis 6:5-7
While the flood in Genesis 6 shortened the days of sinful humanity, it also happened with Sodom and Gomorrah, “For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.” Genesis 19:13 Also, on the Day of the Lord, the days of the global culture of the beast will be cut short. “For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.” Revelation 18:5-6
“And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” Matthew 24:22 When the flood came, the days of humanity were shortened for the sake of Noah, his sons and their wives who were saved. When Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, there the days of humanity were shortened for the sake of Lot and his two daughters who were saved. When this world’s system is destroyed, the days of humanity will be shortened for the sake of us who stay loyal to Jesus Christ who will be saved.
In today’s world, we witness the spread of characteristics of psychopathy such as egocentrism, antisocial behavior, absence of guilt and compassion, and criminal inclinations. Such characteristics promote a state of anarchy or lawlessness that will inevitably shorten the days of humanity. People no longer function through human conscience, but instead follow the entity giving them what that to feel, think, say, and do. The global culture has become self-centered and feel empowered to exalt their own sense of good and evil above the authority and Holiness of God our Creator. They have their own sense of good and evil and do not experience any guilt or regret. They reject the notion of being sinners who need Jesus Christ’s forgiveness. They believe they can abuse, exploit, oppress, and kill the Holy Spirit according to their own moral standards.
Living among hardships and troubles, people have to strive for their existence, and they can do so by planting the seed of Christ’s Gospel in their own spirit and soul. “…to till the ground from which he was taken.” Genesis 3:22-23
Entry into the Garden of Eden is guarded by angels of Holiness. “So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.” Genesis 3:24
A life of Holiness through Jesus Christ is the only way to envision an earthly Garden of Eden. However, human nature is tainted by inherited sin, making a paradise on earth impossible. The Cherubim are angels who guard the way of Holiness, and the flaming sword is the fire of the Holy Spirit who protects the access to the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden.
The Holy Spirit, who we receive by serving Jesus Christ, is our assurance of entering the new Garden of Eden, which is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth. “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14
The United Nations aims to bypass the Cherubim of Holiness and the flaming sword of the Holy Spirit, who guards the way to Eden. They think they can overcome sin without the Holiness that comes from Jesus Christ by the remission of sin. They depend on the entity that gives people their feelings, thoughts, words, and actions to restrain sin and to create a new world of peace and security. However, this entity works by bringing to life the image of the beast to live and speak through people. Instead of creating a paradise on earth, they have created a global culture that opposes the love of God, rejects the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and oppresses the Holy Spirit. They are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. They promise a global paradise but bring the government of the beast.
“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” Philippians 3:20-21
One way God said
to get to heaven –
Jesus is the ONLY way!
No other way; No other way;
No other way to God…
One way God said
to get to heaven –
Jesus is the only way!
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
