What is happening globally to the Gospel of Christ has never happened before in the history of humanity.

  • There is mourning for the rejection of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
  • There is mourning for the loss of sowing the Gospel Seed and bringing souls to God.
  • There is mourning for the loss of the fruit of the Spirit.

What is happening globally today has never happened before. The word of the Lord that came to Joel the son of Pethuel. Hear this, you elders, and give ear, all you inhabitants of the land! Has anything like this happened in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? Tell your children about it, let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.” Joel 1:1-3

The prophecy of Joel is speaking to every inhabitant of the land, a global message. Specifically, the Holy Spirit is speaking to every person around the world who lives for God though Jesus Christ. He is speaking to all of us “elders” who are familiar with the strong roots the Gospel of Christ once had in this world.

Today, something unheard of and destructive has happened to belief in God. No longer do people feel a need for admitting they are sinners in need of the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. No longer do people embrace the Holy Spirit to live a life of Holiness. Through Joel, the Holy Spirit asks, “Has anything like this happened in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? ” We are encouraged to relay to the children of the difference between a world with the testimony of Jesus and one without Him. “Tell your children about it, let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.”

What is different today that makes the events within the world so unheard of? Very simply, we are living within a global culture that makes itself more important than God, rejects the need for Jesus Christ, and ridicules the presence of the Holy Spirit. The nations of the United Nations are of one mind, and they have given their power and authority to the beast, as quoted, “These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb…” Revelation 17:13-14a. That is why the global government is called the government of the beast.

What is the driving force to make the global events of today so unheard of? There is a thing in the world which gives people what to think, feel, say, and do as it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. People in every city around the world are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

The global government of the beast came into existence when the United Nations was established immediately after WW2, as described in Daniel 8. The formation of the global government is also described in Revelation 17.

It is also unheard of since the creation of God that the human conscience has been tossed aside. The thing giving people what to feel, think, do, and say has replaced the human conscience. Traits of psychopathy fills every city around the world as people have become egocentric to empower and exalt themselves above God. They feel no remorse and feel no need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They oppose, ridicule, and manipulate the presence of the Holy Spirit as they detest the life of Holiness. The world fills with anti-social activity, with no empathy for others within their superficial charm.

It is for us who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ to continue to spread the Good News to the generations after us. We must always share the world we once knew when the Gospel of Christ was strong and to explain the extinction of the testimony of Jesus in the world today. As hopeless as it seems in today’s world, there will always be a few who are faithful to the testimony of Jesus Christ until the day of His return.

The global culture is devouring the testimony of Jesus Christ. “What the chewing locust left, the swarming locust has eaten; What the swarming locust left, the crawling locust has eaten; And what the crawling locust left, the consuming locust has eaten.” Joel 1:4

The locusts are the swarms of people who comprise the global culture who are eating away at the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They come as a collective force against the fruit of the Holy Spirit within the human spirit. What the swarms of the global culture leave behind of the Spirit of Christ, then individuals (crawling locusts) of the global culture continue to eat away at the fruit of the Spirit. Then the cycle repeats as the swarms of the masses of the global culture continue their attack, then once again individuals continue the consummation. God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are under perpetual attack within the global culture of the beast.

The global government and its culture are consuming the fruit of the Spirit by the thing giving people what to think, feel, do, and say. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through the swarms of the global culture and by what they say and do they continually consume the Spirit of Christ. People conform to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

As the Spirit is consumed, the human conscience is replaced by the thing giving people what to feel and think. Traits of psychopathy fills the swarms of the global culture as they are egocentric to empower and exalt themselves above God. As they consume the Goodness of God and the Spirit of Christ, they feel no remorse and feel no need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They oppose, ridicule, and manipulate the presence of the Holy Spirit as they detest the life of Holiness. The world fills with anti-social activity, with no empathy for others within their superficial charm.

Even today, we know Christian births are being exterminated, as written about in Revelation 12. That is happening under the implementation of the goals of the United Nations, which is the global government of the beast. The global government and its culture have authority in this world and overcomes Believers, as quoted, “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.” Revelation 13:7 The “him” in the verse above is the beast behind the image and mark of the beast which empowers the global government of the beast.

Today, it’s more than obvious that the swarms within the global culture have consumed what God has given us through Jesus Christ. The churches are no longer a light shining with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Government lawmakers no longer implement the values of the Bible in their policies. The educational system does not allow the teachings of the Bible in the classrooms. Christianity is not welcomed in any sector of society as a continual consummation of the fruit of the Spirit is happening. Any Baby Boomer can attest to how this has happened because we can compare today’s culture to the time when the Gospel of Christ had strong roots.

The swarms of today’s culture say that the USA was never established on God and Jesus Christ, but we Baby Boomers know better. We know churches are built on practically every street corner. The question to them is, “If America was never a Christian nation, then where did all the churches come from?”

Daniel 7 describes how the fruit of the Holy Spirit are eaten up by the Four Beasts.

The remission of sin through Jesus Christ has been cut off. “Awake, you drunkards, and weep; And wail, all you drinkers of wine, because of the new wine, for it has been cut off from your mouth.” Joel 1:5

The New Wine refers to bringing the mercy, grace, Salvation, and eternal life of God to all people through Jesus Christ by the remission of sin. The New Wine is the blood Jesus shed on the Cross to atone for sin. “Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” Matthew 26:27-29

The New Wine cannot be put into the old wineskins of the Old Testament laws, the same as the Holy Spirit cannot be put into the old ways of the carnal flesh, “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.” Mark 2:22 New Wine put into new wineskins is the born-again experience by the remission of sin and the infilling of the Holy Spriit.

Today, the New Wine of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been cut off from the present world’s system and its global culture. Including the Jewish people of today who reject Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The masses of people in every city around the world have chosen to live by the thing which gives them what to feel, think, say, and do. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people and by what they say and do they are separated from God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. They are the drunkards who refuse to speak from the Goodness of God and through the Spirit of Christ. People everywhere are drunkenly conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by wat they say and do.

In the same way that drunkards seem to lose touch of their conscience when they abuse alcohol, the human conscience is cast aside and replaced by the thing which gives people what to feel and think. As the human conscience is replaced, traits of psychopathy flourishes globally. The global culture becomes egocentric as they thrive on empowerment to be exalted above the authority of God. In a spiritually drunken state, they feel no remorse and feel no need for admitting they are sinners in need of the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They oppose, ridicule, and manipulate the presence of the Holy Spirit as they prey on the life of Holiness. The spiritual drunkards fill the world with lawlessness and anti-social activity, with no empathy for others within their superficial charm.

The teeth of iron of the global culture have come against the Kingdom of God. “For a nation has come up against My land, strong, and without number; His teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the fangs of a fierce lion.” Joel 1:6

The nation which has come against God’s Kingdom, which is strong and without number, is the United Nations, which is the global culture of the beast. The nations of the world are of one mind through the agenda of the United Nations and have given their authority to the government of the beast, “For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.” Revelation 17:17 All the world lives for the innumerable global culture of the beast, except we who live for God through Jesus Christ, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8 The “he” in the verse above refers to the beast behind the image and mark of the beast.

The global government of the beast and its global culture have teeth and fangs like a fierce lion. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8 They are fierce like a lion because they are under the influence of something non-spiritual and not natural to the human spirit. It gives people what to feel, think, say, and do as it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through the masses in every city around the world. People conform to the fiercely anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

The fierce thing giving people what to feel and think is a lion devouring and replacing the human conscience. Because of the disappearance of the human conscience, traits of psychopathy flourishes around the globe. It causes people to thrive on the feeling of empowerment to exalt themselves above the authority of God. Its fierce teeth cause people to feel no remorse and no need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. It is fiercely predatory as it sees the life of Holiness in the Holy Spirit as an easy target for a kill, manipulation, and domination.

The book of Daniel, Chapter 7, talks about the beast with iron teeth which devours and tramples on the residue of whatever is left of belief in God, belief in Jesus Christ, and life in the Holy Spirit. “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet.” Daniel 7:7 Click here for a post on Daniel 7 and the four Beasts.

The Holy Spirit speaks the following words to us,

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 

Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 5:8-11

The branches of Jesus Christ have been stripped bare by the “man of sin”. “He has laid waste My vine, and ruined My fig tree; He has stripped it bare and thrown it away; Its branches are made white.” Joel 1:7

The “he” in the verse above refers to the “man of sin” click here for a post on the “man of sin”. He lives within the human body (the temple of God) of the masses of the global culture by giving them what to feel, think, do, and say, as quoted, “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4

The thing forming what people feel and think lays to waste God’s Vine who is Jesus Christ, ruins His Fig Tree which should be blossoming with the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and strips bare the branches of Christianity. As our Lord Jesus Christ has said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:5-6

The global government of the beast and its global culture has laid waste and stripped bare the branches of the Gospel of Christ. That is done as the “man of sin” hijacks the temple of God, our body, as its possession. Instead of seeing the human body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, people are seen as the temple of the thing which lives in the thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors of people in every city around the world.

While our body is created to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, the thing giving people what to feel, think, do, and say wants to dominate and lay to waste the temple of the Holy Spirit. However, there is no fellowship of the temple of the Holy Spirit with idols, as quoted, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 “And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:16

Instead of the fruit of the Holy Spirit blossoming on the branches of the tree, the fruit of the global culture of the beast is blossoming in its place which signifies that the summer of the end times is near, “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 16:31-35

Those who have forsaken the Good News should mourn, wail, and be ashamed.

There is mourning for the loss of the first love of the Gospel of Christ. “Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth“ Joel 1:8

The “husband of her youth” refers to God being the husband of the Church through Jesus Christ. Virginity refers to purity, and many of us still alive today can remember when the manmade churches kept the purity of the Gospel of Christ. Those were the days when God was honored as the Divine Creator, the need for Jesus Christ was acknowledged for the remission of sin, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit was desired. The churches believed that Jesus died on the Cross to atone for sin, God raised Him from the dead after three days, and He ascended into Heaven to live eternally with God. Because He lives, we will live eternally with Him. The churches once were the light shining with the message, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

The First Church referred to in Revelation 2 talks about the churches leaving their first love, the “husband of her youth.”

What have the churches left Jesus Christ for? They have left God to live for the thing giving them what to think, feel, do, say, and believe. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. By giving people what to feel and think, it replaces the human conscience. The world is filled with traits of psychopathy on every continent. The masses around the world conform to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

A relationship with God cannot be held because of being egocentric and thriving on being empowered and exalted above God our Creator. The global culture is not able to maintain a marriage to Jesus Christ because they do not feel a need to admit they are sinners and they do not feel remorse nor guilt to lead them to the remission of sin. They cannot hold a marriage to the Holy Spirit because they are not able to humble themselves to the life of Holiness. They oppose, ridicule, manipulate, and attempt to dominate the fruit of Spirit. They have a lack of empathy for others as lawlessness anti-social behavior flourishes globally.

There is mourning for the loss of service to God which has been cut off from the churches. “The grain offering and the drink offering have been cut off from the house of the Lord; The priests mourn, who minister to the Lord.” Joel 1:9

Service to the Lord Jesus Christ symbolizes the grain and drink offering which has been cut off from the house of the Lord. The “house of the Lord” refers to the manmade churches as well as the human body as the house of the Holy Spirit. The manmade churches are no longer connected to serving God through Jesus Christ. Service to God is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, which is that God loved the world and sent His Son Jesus Christ for the remission of sin so that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. With that, the thing that gives people what to feel, think, do, and say are cutting people off from serving God through Jesus Christ by hardening the human spirit against the Good News.

The true ministers of the Word of God, and all of us who desire to share the testimony of Jesus, mourn to see how the house of the Lord is cut off from God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

There is mourning for the rejection of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “The field is wasted, the land mourns; For the grain is ruined, the new wine is dried up, the oil fails.” Joel 1:10

The wasted field and the land that mourns is every city around the world inhabited by the masses of the global culture. The ruined grain, the dried-up new wine, and the failed oil refers to service to God, the remission of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. The anti-Christian global culture has ruined service to God, they have dried up the new wine of the Gospel of Christ, and the Holy Spirit is taken from this world. They have done that by welcoming the thing giving them what to think, say, do, and feel. “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.” Revelation 13:7 The “him” in the verse above refers to the beast behind the image and mark of the beast.

There is mourning for the loss of sowing the Gospel Seed and bringing souls to God. “Be ashamed, you farmers, wail, you vinedressers, for the wheat and the barley; Because the harvest of the field has perished.” Joel 1:11

The farmers and vinedressers are those who have been given the task of plowing the Gospel Seed to bring people to God through Jesus Christ. However, where they should be harvesting souls to enter into the eternal Kingdom of God, the harvest of the field has perished. The farmers and vinedressers include the churches who have discarded the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well as everyone who has fallen away from sharing the testimony of Jesus. The harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God has perished and every farmer and vinedresser should be ashamed for turning away from the Message of the Cross. Jesus said, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62 Because people have quit allowing the light of Jesus Christ to shine through the churches and the human spirit, we should wail because the harvest of souls has perished.

There is mourning for the loss of the fruit of the Spirit. “The vine has dried up, and the fig tree has withered; The pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree—all the trees of the field are withered; Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.” ” Joel 1:12

Jesus Christ is the vine and everyone who lives for Him are the branches. In today’s world, the vine of Jesus Christ has withered, and the branches of every Christian tree has also withered. Joy has withered away around the world as the human spirit has been hardened against the joy of the Spirit. People are being given what to feel, think, do, and say instead of experiencing true joy by the fruit of the Spirit. Belief in God has withered, acknowledging the need for Jesus Christ has withered, and embracing the Holy Spirit has withered. Because of the rejection of the Water of Life (Jesus Christ), the branches have withered and will be burned in the eternal flames of hell.

As our Lord Jesus Christ has said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” Jon 15:5-6
