The false god empowering the global government of the beast will be reduced to nothing.

“The Lord will be awesome to them, for He will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth; People shall worship Him, each one from his place, indeed all the shores of the nations.” Zephaniah 2:11

The Lord will be awesome to those who reconcile to God through Jesus Christ by the remission of sin. He will reduce to nothing the god of this world which brings harm to His children. The god of this earth today is the beast behind the image and mark of the beast. The thing which has power over physiology to form what people think, feel, do, say and believe is by the working of Satan. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through the masses in every city around the world. That is the god of this world which conforms the masses to the global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

In part, the population of the global culture of the beast brings its own lawlessness, tribulation, and destruction because the thing forming feelings and thoughts replaces the human conscience. The traits of psychopathy flood the world as people become egocentric to empower and exalt themselves above God. They feel no remorse and no need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They oppose, ridicule, and manipulate the presence of the Holy Spirit as they detest the life of Holiness. The world fills with anti-social activity, with no empathy for others within their superficial charm.

 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.

When it is said that the “lawless one” will be destroyed by the brightness of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, I automatically think of the brightness of the sun. It is global warming which is instrumental in destroying the power center of the beast. That means the global government of the beast will be rendered powerless. After that comes the Battle of Armageddon. Global warming is the Fourth Plague, the destruction of the power center of the beast is the Fifth Plague, and the Battle of Armageddon is the Sixth Plague. Click here for the scripture on the Seven Plagues in Revelation 16.

The power center of the beast is what gives power over physiology to form thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. When it no longer has a place within our physiology, then we know it has collapsed and the Battle of Armageddon is nearby. However, as long as there is still intrusion into our thoughts and feelings, we know any other war is not Armageddon. WW3 could happen today, but it would only serve to increase the power of a one world government as long as the beast still gives people what to think, feel, believe, say and do.
