Jesus Christ wants our belief in Him to be separate from faith in miracles, physical healings, signs, and wonders.

John 4:48

“Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.” John 4:48

Our belief in Jesus Christ has to be through faith, not by the physical signs found within this world, “… without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 The world we live in today has no belief in anything spiritual, sacred, Divine, nor beyond the grave. They are rooted in the physical world, which is exactly the description of humanism, which is the fig leaf of clothing worn by those who govern and live by the thing which forms what they think, feel, and do.

Humanism is “… an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”

Signs and wonders are used by the thing which has power over physiology and external elements to persuade people to follow the thing which forms what people feel, think, say and do. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. The masses are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. (The Lord Jesus doesn’t want us to seek after signs and wonders, but to seek after the remission of sin by living for Him.)

The thing which has power over physiology persuades people in every city around the world to follow it by its signs and wonders. People follow it for its physical healings, social approval, endowment of uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, authority, physical comforts, sensual pleasures, artificial emotional responses, extraordinary skills, amazing physical abilities etc.

He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.

And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

Revelation 13:13-14 and Revelation 13:3

We can assess that believing in Jesus Christ is independent of seeing miracles, physical healings, and all sorts of signs and wonders. The diagnosis is that those who live and govern for the global culture depends on all sorts of worldly signs and wonders from the thing which has power over physiology. They thrive on boasting, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war with him?” They by no means believe in God the Creator who sent His Son Jesus for the remission of sin. We plan to separate worldly signs and wonders from our belief in Jesus Christ who heals the spirit and soul. We implement that plan by focusing on the Spirit and realizing the greatest miracle of all is when someone receives Jesus Christ according to His Gospel. We know the plan is successful when signs, wonders, healings, and miracles of all types are no longer the basis of our belief in the Lord Jesus. Our faith is rooted in the belief that God raised Jesus from the dead and we say that Jesus is Lord.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
