Muddy waters and porcupines are everywhere

“I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, and marshes of muddy water; I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” says the Lord of hosts.” Isaiah 14:23

The verse above is describing this world where the decency of the Holy Spirit and the goodness of God is corrupted, and love has grown cold with spiny attitudes. This spiritually muddy and spiny world will be totally swept away in the destruction of this present heaven and earth.

Porcupines are creatures that are very hard to cuddle up to and get cozy with. That describes a world where love has gone cold. People raise up their spines and shoot them towards the decency of the human spirit. They are very spiny against the goodness of God and shoot their spines against the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They needle the Holy Spirit in their detest of Holiness.

Marshes of muddy water are to corrupt innocence and decency, to turn smiles of joy into smiles and laughter of malice, and to muddy the presence of the Holy Spirit. The “Jackass” movies are designed to do just that, to bring smiles at the calamity of others. The “Jackass” movies are just a drop in the bucket of all the muddy waters in this world today. The marshes of muddy waters are designed to pollute the cleanliness of the spirit, click for a post on having victory in the wet and boggy mire of this world.

The spiritually muddy waters mixed with spiny attitudes describes the world we are living in today, and it progresses forward into global tribulation. That is exactly what this following verse is describing,

“‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’

She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.

For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries.

Revelation 18:2-3

The thing with power over physiology to form thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors is all about creating a world of muddy waters and porcupines. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people and by what they say and do, they show their detest against cleanliness of the spirit and show their happiness when the spines of the porcupine appear. The are conformed to the anti-Chrisitan global culture within a world of muddy marshes and porcupines as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” Psalms 24:3-5
