No Religion is the Way to Peace?

Revelation 13:6-7

I noticed that the global agreement on religion is the same, that it fosters bigotry, dogma, intolerance, conflict, and wars. The consensus of the international community is that without religion there would be much more peace in the world. John’s Lennon song, “Imagine” has become a theme song protesting for world peace, “Imagine there’s no countries, it isn’t hard to do, nothing to kill or die for and no religion too, imagine all the people living life in peace…” That is how the beast operates, in the name of peace and by boasting its greatness over every religion and every government. “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” Revelation 13:6

Everybody who receives the mark of the beast are mirroring the same sentiments as those spoken in the song, “Imagine.” Their idea of peace is to eliminate God’s love, the Word of God, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, and anything to do with the message of the Cross. Human decency goes out the door as well, and persecution of Christians follow. While national and international policies are broad and makes no direct mention of a specific religion, the direct impact locally guts the Word of God of all Gospel essentials. Social media sites scarcely have any categories for Christian pages, and there are constant complaints about the nature of the internet. Church centers have become gathering places to teach the way of the internal government, to teach the way of the mark of the beast. The words sound like words of peace, but they are full of blasphemy and bring affliction to those who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ. They frown on those who reject the mark and smile on those who live by it.

The global order doesn’t need God’s Son Jesus Christ, but I do. Jesus is returning soon.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
