Today, we are between the opening of the Six Seals and the sounding of the Seven Trumpets: We qualify for the seal of God on our forehead.

Revelation 7:1-4

“After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.” Revelation 7:1

Today, we see that the First Seal has already been opened (mentioned in the reading below), and the seal which God puts on the forehead of His followers happens before the Seven Trumpets sound, which is before severe global tribulation is unleashed on the planet. As Christians in today’s world, we qualify for the seal of God on our forehead.

This chapter of the Revelation refers to when Six of the Seven Seals have been opened, and now the winds are about to blow to unleash turbulence on this earth that has never been experienced before. Before the Seventh Seal is opened to start the Seven Trumpets, the winds are being held back until the Seal of God is put on the foreheads of those faithful to the testimony of Jesus Christ. Already, we see the opening of the Six Seals happening in this world (Click here for a description of the Six Seals).

The first seal has definitely been opened which is the thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and say as it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. By what they say and do, they are groomed to the mark of the beast. That kicks off the opening of the other seals. Those events include taking peace from the earth and causing death. There is a deep economic gap and burden as a day’s wages is needed to put a meal on the table. Hunger, death, and attacks from animals persist. Persecution and death are foreseen for those who live for the testimony of Jesus. There is turbulence on the earth and in the sky due to “natural” disasters.

We know we are well into the opening of the Six Seals because we are seeing the beginning of the Fourth Plague in the world today, which is global warming. In its intensity, it is mentioned in Revelation 16:8-9, as quoted, “Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” Revelation 16:8-9

“Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” Revelation 7:2-3

Today, every follower of Jesus Christ is eligible to receive God’s seal on our forehead. We know we are between the opening of the Six Seals and the sounding of the Seven Trumpets, which is before severe global tribulation is unleashed on the planet. We are even seeing the appearance of the Fourth Plague which is global warming (mentioned above). Now is the time to file an application to receive God’s seal, simply go to the Cross of Christ and reconcile with the Spirit of God through the remission of sin.

There is a thing in this world which has power over physiology and is able to form thoughts and manipulate what we think. It turns thoughts away from belief in God, turns thoughts away from the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and turns thoughts away from living life through the Holy Spirit. That is the opening of the First Seal. These are certainly the days when we need God’s seal on our forehead. The seal on the forehead helps all Christians to remain faithful to the testimony of Jesus through severe global chaos, hardships, and persecutions.

The seal of God on the forehead would definitely counter the imposition of the thoughts received from the thing which enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. For example, the seal of God would definitely involve the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit being retained in what we think. In essence, when thoughts come to our mind which we know are unnatural and of Satan, God’s seal on the forehead counters it. If I don’t act on the anti-Christian thoughts that come to mind, then the thought comes to nothing. The seal of God on the forehead is to keep me in tune to Him, to always maintain the testimony held for Jesus Christ, and to welcome the Holy Spirit.

God’s seal on the forehead relates directly to this, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance…” Ephesians 1:13-14

God’s seal on the forehead also relates directly to this, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

“And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:” Revelation 7:4

The “144,000” are those who are faithful to Jesus Christ and who hang on with little strength while being slandered, persecuted, and murdered. The “144,000” includes believers from all over the world who speak different languages, are from different backgrounds, and are totally different in every way except for their faithfulness to God through Jesus Christ.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
