David asks the lying defendant how he could not be afraid to come against the Lord’s anointed: Jesus Christ asks those of this world how they are not afraid to lift their hand against Israel and Christianity.

2 Samuel 1:13-14

“Then David said to the young man who told him, “Where are you from?” And he answered, “I am the son of an alien, an Amalekite.” So David said to him, “How was it you were not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?” 2 Samuel 1:13-14

The lying defendant declared that he was an alien and a son of an Amalekite. He has already lied and errantly confessed to putting an end to Saul’s life. That is why David asked him how he could not be afraid to have a hand in destroying the Lord’s anointed. Although Saul was spiritually wicked, he was a king over the Israelites and David expected loyalty to Saul in that respect. Likewise, as followers of Jesus Christ, we are expected never to have a role in coming against Israel, and those same expectations are for everyone else as well.

The defendant also made a huge mistake by lying and saying he was an Amalekite. He apparently had no idea that the Amalekites were plundering and burning David’s camp while he was running from support of Israel during the battle against the Philistines. The Amalekites took David’s family and all of his men’s families captive. The lie of the defendant would be like those of today telling Jesus Christ they had a role in coming against Him and prohibiting His Gospel from spreading freely through society.

Why was the defendant lying so much? Because he was trying to avoid the wrath and judgment of David. Saul was an enemy of David who wanted David dead, so the lying defendant thought he would be a hero by saying he killed Saul. The lying defendant was also trying to portray himself as a person totally alien to the camp of Saul by saying he was an Amalekite. Lying to the Holy Spirit is the wrong path to take because it gets us out of the frying pan and into the fire. The only way for God to see us in a favorable light is through His Son Jesus Christ, to stand in support of Israel and to contribute to the life of His testimony.

If we were to be questioned by Jesus Christ, the last thing He wants to hear is that we ran from supporting Israel during the spiritual battle in this world. Although we do not support Israel’s spiritual wickedness and rejection of Jesus Christ, we support them as a person would support and try to help a runaway child in this world. Israel is a rebellious and wayward child of God who needs to return home to Him through Jesus Christ. As followers of Jesus, we stand with Israel and are never to lift up a hand or voice against them. God will bring judgment to Israel by his own hand through the spiritual wickedness of the global government of the beast.

We see the world coming against Israel today. The United Nations (Global government of the beast) has made the State of Israel an international outlaw for their use of police and military force. The masses in cities around the world protest against the government of Israel for not conforming to the global goals of the United Nations. The Israeli citizens protest against their own government demanding their “democratic” rights as defined by the United Nations (including the right to kill the unborn and to promote the LGBQT+ lifestyles, etc.). The United States have run from their support of Israel by refusing to stand with Israel against the “democratic” goals of the global government of the beast. How can they not be afraid to lift their hand against the Lord’s anointed?

If we were to be questioned by Jesus Christ, He does not want to hear that we are alien to Him and had a hand in plundering Christianity and preventing His Gospel from freely being spread. If we were to implicate ourselves and say we came against the Lord Jesus and also ran from our support of Israel, Jesus would respond with this question, “How was it you were not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?” There is going to be severe judgment for those who have no fear of God, reject His son Jesus Christ, and who blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

Those of this world are under a strong delusion which totally removes the Holy Spirit from their conscience. They have no thoughts coming to them from the marriage of the human spirit to Jesus Christ. They are totally depraved of any thought of the Living God. They are given what to think, they are given what to feel, they are given what to do, and they are given what to speak. They have allowed the image of the beast to live and speak through them and by what they do and say they afflict Israel and Christianity. They are from the global “democratic” culture of the beast and are groomed to the mark of the beast. Their ritual is to bring death to Israel and the testimony of Jesus.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
