Saul praises David for returning good to him instead of evil: Christianity is mocked for being kind to those who despise them.

1 Samuel 24:17-18

“Then he said to David: “You are more righteous than I; for you have rewarded me with good, whereas I have rewarded you with evil. And you have shown this day how you have dealt well with me; for when the Lord delivered me into your hand, you did not kill me.” 1 Samuel 24:17-18

Saul was definitely speaking the truth when he said David was more righteous than himself. Saul’s only intent was to kill David, but David always extended mercy and grace to Saul. Likewise, Jesus Christ will always offer His mercy and grace to sinners although they have a heart of sin filled with hostility towards His Gospel. At the same time, by His Holiness, He keeps Himself apart from the ways of this world, “Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did. But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.” John:23-25 (“Men” in the above verse refers to the whole of humanity.)

As followers of Jesus Christ, we show respect and humbleness to the governing authorities, and show the same humbleness and respect to the masses who make-up the “democratic” society. They mock the Spirit of Christ in us as they say in various ways, “You are more righteous than I; for you have rewarded me with good, whereas I have rewarded you with evil.” For example, they will agree that it is better to give than receive, but only when they are on the receiving end. They expect the mercy and grace of God to be extended towards them as they habitually mock the Holy Spirit, mock Jesus Christ, and deny God. Jesus tells us not to commit to them nor to join with their fellowship as we make an effort to share the Gospel of Christ with them. Their heart is filled with sin, and it is not good for Christians to embrace them.

While we share the mercy and grace of God through Jesus Christ, we never ever boast in a person nor lift up a human being above God,

But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Galatians 6:14

Those of this world will take all of the goodness of the Bible and apply it to themselves as they intend to extinguish the teachings of the Bible from their “democratic” society. They want to convert the mercy, kindness, and love of Christianity to serve their “democratic” society as they toss out the Deity of Christ. They are those who live by the thing which forms what they do, think, feel, and speak. They are allowing the image of the beast to live and speak through them, and by what they say and do they prioritize themselves and mock Christianity. By what they say and do, they are conformed to their place in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast. Even then, the mercy and grace of God are extended to them through Jesus Christ, while realizing the sinful, deceitful, and manipulative condition of humanity, as quoted below from the words of the Apostle Paul,

And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

1 Timothy 1:14-15

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
