Couples who shear the Spirit are like lemons and sugar towards the Spirit

1 Samuel 25:3

“The name of the man was Nabal, and the name of his wife Abigail. And she was a woman of good understanding and beautiful appearance; but the man was harsh and evil in his doings. He was of the house of Caleb.” 1 Samuel 25:3 That is pretty much how relationships in society are today, one feeds into human decency of the Spirit while the other counters it with harsh and bad behavior. It’s like using a comb to lift up hair to clip it. The one putting forth understanding is like the comb lifting up the hair, and the abrasive one shears the hair.

The intent within the relationship is to harden the human spirit to the Spirit of Christ as God is blasphemed, the need for Jesus Christ is discarded, and the Holy Spirit trampled on. The Holy Spirit speaks to us not to be joined with unbelievers because there is no common bond between light and dark and no bond between believers and unbelievers. Abigail left her husband Nabal as seen in later verses, beginning in verse 25.

The society of today is built on mandating that everyone lives by the thing which forms what they think, feel, and do to allow the image of the beast to live and speak through them. For that to happen, the Spirit is sheared, and relationships are based on that standard. When they behave and say things accordingly, they are conformed to their station in life, or mark in life, they are being synchronized to the mark of the beast. The “democratic” society of today has a common element which bonds them as a functioning unit, they have no belief in God, have no need for Jesus Christ, and trample on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is who lifts up the name of Jesus.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to feed His sheep, not shear the Spirit. Our love is focused on Him first and foremost,

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”

He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”

He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”

He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”

And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”

Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

John 21:15-17

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
