“Then David hid in the field. And when the New Moon had come, the king sat down to eat the feast.” 1 Samuel 20:24 Jesus Christ is laying in the field of our soul, and the New Moon of the remission of sin and blossoms of the Holy Spirit are with us today. But so is the king who governs by the mark of the beast.
“Now the king sat on his seat, as at other times, on a seat by the wall. And Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul’s side, but David’s place was empty.” 1 Samuel 20:25 Those who deny God, and discard the need for Jesus Christ, and trample on the Holy Spirit are sitting by the wall. It is a wall built to keep Jesus Christ out, and with that wall is the commander of the armies (Abner). As followers of Christ, we rise from that table and do not sit with them, we are not part of the armies that come against Christ.
The global government of the beast establishes the “democratic” society in every city around the world. It builds a wall against Christianity and uses its global armies to establish itself on the throne. “…it opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that it sits as God in the temple of God, showing itself that it is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 The place where Jesus Christ is to be seated within the soul is empty,
“Nevertheless Saul did not say anything that day, for he thought, “Something has happened to him; he is unclean, surely he is unclean.” 1 Samuel 20:26 Saul’s concern for the absence of David was simply because he wanted to keep a very close eye on his whereabouts. Being “unclean” would be from one of many Jewish laws such as touching a dead body etc. which would require no social interaction. Today, those who live by the mark of the beast are keeping a very close eye on the Spirit of Christ. If the attitude of Christ is not seen, then they assume that corruption has kept Him from appearing, which is what they want.
“And it happened the next day, the second day of the month, that David’s place was empty. And Saul said to Jonathan his son, “Why has the son of Jesse not come to eat, either yesterday or today?” 1 Samuel 20:27 With the persistent absence of David, Saul wants to know where he is and asks Jonathan, who loves David. This would be like those who govern by the mark of the beast asking a Christian, “Where is Jesus Christ in your life? They do not want to hear that Jesus is in a place of love within our heart and mind.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
