We work with Jesus Christ to share the plan of God’s Salvation. “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.” 2 Corinthians 6:1 Anyone who comes to Jesus Christ for the remission of sin work together with Him to spread the Good News, which is “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Receiving grace in vain is to interpret the forgiveness of sin as not needing to live in the Spirit of Christ from day to day. Today, there is a lot of churchy and humanitarian sounding words of love, support, and tolerance to show grace towards the sinner. However, they deny any need for Jesus Christ as they place the esteem and self-confidence of a person first. They live by humanism rooted in the mark of the beast.
Today is the day of Salvation through Jesus. “For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2 God hears us when we call to Him, and today anyone can come to God through Jesus Christ, He is our Salvation. We can call on Him at this moment and He will hear us, and we will be saved. We simply believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
“We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed.” 2 Corinthians 6:3 As followers of Christ, we don’t condemn anything because condemnation closes the door to spreading the testimony of Jesus. However, it’s obvious to see that the teachings of the Bible have been condemned by this present system of government.
Many burdens face Christianity. In this world that denies God, discards Jesus Christ, and tramples on the Holy Spirit, we define ourselves as ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are faced with burdens for being Christians. “But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true, as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.” 2 Corinthians 6:4-10
Opening the heart to the love of God should be a two-way street. “O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open.” 2 Corinthians 6:11 As followers of Jesus Crist, we open our hearts wide to speak openly to others about Jesus Christ. “You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.” 2 Corinthians 6:12 We do not restrict others, but they are captives/restricted to sin by the thing which forms their affections, feelings, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. They discard the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ.
“Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open.” 2 Corinthians 6:13 The desire is for others to be as open with us as we are with them, relating to the grace, love, and forgiveness which comes through Jesus. Unfortunately, those who live by the mark of the beast are not able to return kindness and love for the kindness and love shown towards them by Christians. They despise Christianity.
Light has no communion with darkness. “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? ” 2 Corinthians 6:14 It’s obvious that those who reject Jesus Christ and brings grievance to the Holy Spirit will never open their heart to a two-way relationship in the love of God. Our response is to not enter into a relationship nor any fellowship with them. We constantly shine the light of Christ, and they constantly oppose the light to live in darkness. Light has no fellowship with darkness, turn on a light and there is no darkness and turn the light off and there is nothing but darkness. Darkness and light do not co-exist.
Our soul has no place for the mark of the beast. “And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?” 2 Corinthians 6:15 Christ has no accord with the thing that forms what a person thinks, does, or feels, because it has no need for the human spirit nor for the Spirit of Christ. It synchronizes a person to the mark of the beast and is the work of Satan. A follower of Christ has no part with unbelievers. “And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:16a. We are the temple of the living God, and we have no agreement with the thing that wants to make us the temple of the mark of the beast.
“…it opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that it sits as God in the temple of God, showing itself that it is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Satan wants to be like God because God has said, “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” 2 Corinthians 6:16b. God lives in us through the Holy Spirit who is given to us by Jesus Christ through the remission of sin.
We are set apart from the world and consecrated to God. “Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” 2 Corinthians 6:17 As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to be set apart from the ways of the world and to stay clear of the unclean and blasphemous thing that wants to live in our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviors. It synchronizes a person to the mark of the beast, “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4 When we are set apart from the rest of the world, we are consecrated to God, “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:18
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
