One size faith fits all.
- The little bit of faith we have is enough.
- A little bit of faith accomplishes big things.
- There are no special thanks for increased faith, we all share the Gospel with the faith we have.
The little bit of faith we have is enough. “And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” Luke 17:5 It’s not really possible to increase faith in God because just a little bit of faith is faith, and God honors that. It’s not possible to increase our faith in Jesus Christ because just a little bit of faith in Him is our Salvation. It’s not possible to increase faith in the Holy Spirit because just a little bit of faith makes Him part of our life. One thing for certain, those who govern by the mark of the beast doesn’t want you to have the slightest bit of faith through the Spirit of Christ. They want every cell of your physiology to be in tune to the thing that has the power to form thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors.
A little bit of faith accomplishes big things. All that Jesus requires of us is the smallest seed of faith, “So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” Luke 17:6 Faith is not to give us the ability to create Heaven on earth, but it is to help us to move obstacles that hinder our relationship we have with God through Jesus Christ. Those who live by the mark of the beast talk about faith for getting jobs, needed money, needed possessions, to be physically healed, to have social interactions etc. Their faith relates to things in this world, but the faith we have in God relates to the type of faith Jesus had. It’s interesting that the word for “mulberry tree” means sadness, and moving that “mulberry tree” is more the type of faith Jesus is talking about. There is a lot to be sad about in this world because of the afflictions that the followers of Christ suffer for their faith. That “mulberry tree” is plucked up by the roots and planted in the sea when we take our focus off the faith of this world and focus on the faith we have in God through Jesus Christ. That sad mulberry tree is planted in the sea of the Christless masses as the world fills with turbulence as the days progress.
There are no special thanks for increased faith, we all share the Gospel with the faith we have. “And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?” Luke 17:7 As followers of Jesus Christ, we are those servants plowing the fields to plant the seeds of the Gospel. We are the ones tending to those who want to feed on, and walk by, the words of the Bible. The plowing and tending of sheep that we do comes from the faith that is in our heart. We are not expecting to receive special treatment for what we do, but those who govern by the mark of the beast will treat you royally for the worldly work of faith you do for them. They want your faith to be increased in the Christless work done for them, but with God the mustard seed of faith is enough and doesn’t need to be increased. One size faith fits all.
“But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’?” Luke 17:8 The faith we have in Christ is to work daily to share His Gospel, to let people know that God loves us and has sent His Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. When the work on this earth is done, then we will eat and drink eternally with Jesus in the New Jerusalem. Until the day we receive thanks through our eternal reward, we keep our hand on the plow and do not look back, “Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.” Luke 17:9
The Apostles were trying to please Jesus when they asked Him to increase their faith, but just having the faith to spread the testimony of Christ is all the faith we need. One person’s faith is not larger than another person’s. There are no special words of thanks for having more faith than someone else. Faith is faith, there are no scales to measure whether one person’s faith is more than another. Instead of seeking an increase in faith Jesus says, “So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’” Luke 17:10 We are not going over-and-beyond the call of duty by having great faith to share the word of God, that is expected of each person whose faith is in God through Jesus Christ.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
