The Person Who is Alone in this World is Very Valuable to Jesus Christ

Luke 15:1-10

  • Objections are raised when the Gospel of Christ is presented to the needy.
  • Jesus is looking for the one who is not among the mainstream social network.
  • Each person is very valuable to Jesus Christ.

Objections are raised when the Gospel of Christ is presented to the needy. “Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him.” Luke 15:1 Jesus Christ came to make us fishers of people, and if we want to net one for Jesus, then we have to go where the fish are biting. The best chance of bringing a person to Jesus is by going to where the receptive sinners are. The Pharisees and scribes were always complaining because Jesus was associating with the ones they regarded as being the worst of sinners. “And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” Luke 15:2 Today, the society who lives by the mark of the beast does not want the followers of Christ to mingle with those who need to hear the message of the Cross. Those who have power over physiology wants to influence thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors to make people their seat of government. They detest the influence of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life.

Jesus is looking for the one who is not among the others. “So He spoke this parable to them, saying: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?” Luke 15:3-4 The broad way of mainstream society is a wilderness filled with people who have discarded the need for Jesus Christ. As followers of Jesus, we leave them and look for the one sinner who is willing to receive Salvation through Jesus. He comes to find the one sinner who is not part of the society which blasphemes God, discards the need for Jesus Christ, and blasphemes the Holy Spirit. “And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.” Luke 15:5 It is a very happy occasion to find one lost sinner who decides to live for Jesus Christ. “And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’” Luke 15:6 Every follower of Jesus rejoices when a person dedicates themselves to live for Jesus and rejects the thing that wants to make us the seat of government for the mark of the beast. “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.” Luke 15:7

Each person is very valuable to Jesus Christ. In the days of Jesus, married women would often attach ten silver coins in a garland as ornamentation, and they would wear it. Each coin was very valuable so when one fell off it was searched for very diligently. “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?” Luke 15:8 Jesus Christ is the lamp of the world, which means He is the light who shows the way to God by the forgiveness of sin. Jesus is coming back, and when He does this world is going to be thoroughly swept, and only those He finds with His blood applied to the heart will receive Salvation. We are a very valuable piece to Jesus Christ, and He rejoices greatly when we give our life to live for Him. “And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’” Luke 15:9 There is joy among the angels of God over one sinner who repents, “Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
