Israel Is Troubled on All Sides, but has No One to Help

Lamentations 1:18-22

Israel has rebelled against the covenant that God made with all of us through Jesus Christ. Those who follow the Jewish traditions of rejecting Jesus as the Messiah has caused their young people to go into captivity. They are captive to the circumstances within the Middle East without the hope that is found in Jesus Christ, and without worldly hope. The global government of the mark of the beast has no interest in being their savior, they want them to conform to a Middle East region called the “Arabian Federated Republics,” or something like that.

¹“The Lord is righteous,
For I rebelled against His commandment.
Hear now, all peoples,
And behold my sorrow;
My virgins and my young men
Have gone into captivity.“

In today’s world, Israel is being deceived by every nation who befriends them. As long as Israel is cooperative to the agenda of the global government, then other nations come on as their lovers. When Israel clings to their traditions and yearn to have the Temple Mount in their possession then their partner nations vote against them in the United Nations. Israel cannot lean on their traditional priests and elders because it would be based on the promises God made to them concerning the Holy Land. Their priests and elders have breathed their last under the global government of the mark of the beast.

¹⁹ “I called for my lovers,
But they deceived me;
My priests and my elders
Breathed their last in the city,
While they sought food
To restore their life.”

Israel is distressed and their soul is troubled. Outside their borders is trouble everywhere, nations have cut themselves off from Biblical Israel, violence surrounds them, and at home they suffer death from rocket attacks, gun violence, stoning, etc. Nations are glad when Israel suffers, and the judgment of the Lord is coming. Israel will suffer terribly but God will bring retribution on those who come against His Holy City. When Israel was declared the State of Israel in 1948, it wasn’t for Israel’s sake, but for the sake of lifting up a banner for God, “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.” Ezekiel 36:22 The judgment of God is not on behalf of the people of Israel, His judgment is on behalf of His Holy name. Israel must come to God through Jesus Christ,

²⁰ “See, O Lord, that I am in distress;
My soul is troubled;
My heart is overturned within me,
For I have been very rebellious.
Outside the sword bereaves,
At home it is like death.

²¹ “They have heard that I sigh,
But no one comforts me.
All my enemies have heard of my trouble;
They are glad that You have done it.
Bring on the day You have announced,
That they may become like me.

²² “Let all their wickedness come before You,
And do to them as You have done to me
For all my transgressions;
For my sighs are many,
And my heart is faint.”
