The B-I-B-L-E
- The Holy Spirit infills us while others are absorbing the words of Jesus.
- Let’s bring our distractions and burdens to Jesus.
- Jesus will never take away the good part of communion with Him.
The Holy Spirit infills us while others are absorbing the words of Jesus. “Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.” Luke 10:38 There is nothing better than to welcome Jesus into our house, which is our body. God created our body to be in fellowship with Him, and that happens when we are the home of the Holy Spirit. When we receive Jesus, He gives us the Holy Spirit. Martha had a sister who also loved Jesus, “And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.” Luke 10:39 It’s a very good thing to sit at the feet of Jesus to hear His word. Each one of us should be reading the Bible, being filled with the Word of God, and learn from the words spoken by Jesus, our Lord.
Let’s bring our distractions and burdens to Jesus. When we have an issue with other believers, the best thing we can do is to carry our concerns to Jesus Christ. Martha, who invited Jesus into her house, was concerned that her sister was not helping her with all the serving that needed to be done, “But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” Luke 10:40 In all the service that we do in the name of Jesus Christ, it’s important that we do not become distracted from what is really important. If we do become distracted from the Spirit of Jesus Christ, we begin to be judgmental of those who are sitting in the presence of Jesus absorbing His words. The society who lives by the mark of the beast wants to distract us from the foundation of our belief, the testimony of Jesus Christ. They want us to do a lot of service but without the Gospel of Jesus, which is humanism empowered by the mark of the beast. The churches have already become involved with service to the community while distracting those who sit at the feet of Jesus absorbing the words of the Bible. Let’s come to Jesus when distractions and burdens begin to overwhelm us.
Jesus will never take away the good part of communion with Him. “And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.” Luke 10:41 When we put service to others above the need to listen to the words of Jesus Christ, we will be troubled and worried about way more things than necessary. In fact, those who govern by the mark of the beast will do everything they can to stress out those who have welcomed Jesus Christ into their life. Their intent is to worry, trouble, and put pressure on the followers of Jesus in the work that they do. They want us to give up on God, to give up on following Jesus, and to give up on the Holy Spirit. In return, the thing that has power over physiology wants to comfort our feelings and to give peace to the mind while easing the workload. It coerces a person to live by the mark of the beast. “But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42 Jesus Christ will never ask anyone to leave Him nor to leave His teachings which are in the Bible. Whatever service we are doing in the churches or in the community, staying at the feet of Jesus and hearing His word is the good part. He will never take that away from any of us.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
