“Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior, waiting the coming day,
Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave He arose; with a mighty triumph o’er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
(Church Hymn)
- Acknowledge our sins and ask Jesus Christ to forgive us.
- God’s will is to forgive us through Jesus Christ.
- The children of Christ have grown exponentially since His first coming.
- The Spirit of Christ dies in this world, but He is returning to take us home.
Acknowledge our sins and ask Jesus Christ to forgive us. Joseph’s brothers acknowledged the terrible act they did against Joseph when they threw him into the pit when he was seventeen years of age. Now they are seeking a way for Joseph to forgive them, as written here, “When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may fully repay us for all the evil which we did to him.” Genesis 50:15 Before any one has come to Christ for the forgiveness of sins, we have done horrible things against Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit. To acknowledge our sin is a step towards forgiveness from God through Jesus. Joseph’s brothers asked him to forgive their sins, and Joseph wept, as written here, “So they sent messengers to Joseph, saying, “Before your father died he commanded, saying, ‘Thus you shall say to Joseph: “I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.”’ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.” Genesis 50:16-17 As sinners all we have to do is come to Jesus Christ and ask Him to forgive our sins.
God’s will is to forgive us through Jesus Christ. Joseph’s brothers acknowledged themselves to be His servants, “Then his brothers also went and fell down before his face, and they said, “Behold, we are your servants.” Genesis 50:18 We also must bow to Jesus and devote our life in service to Him. That is to devote our body to be the home of the Holy Spirit and not to give ourselves as the seat of government for the mark of the beast. This was Joseph’s reply to his brothers, “Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God?” Genesis 50:19 Jesus Christ also gives us peace by telling us the will of God is for the forgiveness of sin, as said here, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 Everyone responsible for the crucifixion and death of Jesus did it with a vicious hatred towards Him, but God planned it to bring Salvation and eternal life to the whosoever. That is represented here, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Genesis 50:20 Jesus Christ offers us peace, comfort, and kindness through the Holy Spirit. Jesus has given rise to Christianity, and as His followers we are brought up on His knees. He provides for us through the teachings of the Bible and the Holy Spirit. “Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.” Genesis 50:21
The children of Christ have grown exponentially since His first coming. “So Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he and his father’s household. And Joseph lived one hundred and ten years.” Genesis 50:22 We are living in the days when a war has been unleashed on the people of God, God Himself, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb.” Revelation 13:7-8 Even then, from the time of Christ to about the 1940’s, the generations of the children of Christ grew exponentially around the world, as symbolized here, “Joseph saw Ephraim’s children to the third generation. The children of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were also brought up on Joseph’s knees.” Genesis 50:23
The Spirit of Christ dies in this world, but He is returning to take us home. A day is coming and is already here when the Spirit of Christ will be taken out of this world, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 Jesus Christ is going to return to bring us up out of this land into the promised land of the New Jerusalem. Joseph symbolizes Jesus Christ, “And Joseph said to his brethren, “I am dying; but God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.” Genesis 50:24
Even today, we look around and see the remains of Jesus Christ scattered around the nation and the world. The churches are just the bones of what they used to be as the faithful few who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ are barely seen. It is during that Christless time, that Jesus is going to visit us with His return, as symbolized here, “Then Joseph took an oath from the children of Israel, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.” Genesis 50:25
“So Joseph died, being one hundred and ten years old; and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.” Genesis 50:26 The global government of the mark of the beast has entombed the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has laid Him to rest in this world. They have no belief in anything beyond this world, but Jesus is coming again. and He is alive within the soul of the faithful few.
“Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior, waiting the coming day,
Jesus my Lord! Up from the grave He arose; with a mighty triumph o’er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
