Joseph Mourns Jacob’s Death: Jesus Christ Mourns Israel’s Death

The nation of Israel, as we see it today in the Middle East, has some humungous days of mourning lying ahead for them. The very name of Israel is directly from the Godly heritage of the Jewish people. Unfortunately, we live in a world that is sweeping the memory of God under the rug, “…it opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that it sits in the temple of God, showing itself that it is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 The intent of the global government of the beast is to erase the name of Israel from off the face of the earth. Integrating them with the surrounding nations would eliminate the name of Israel as well as achieve the goal of a global “democracy.” The Middle East would be called something similar to, “Arabian Federated Republic,” It is the global government of the mark of the beast. If Israel doesn’t surrender to international integration through peace agreements, then they will suffer with violence as a method to exterminate their independence. Global tribulation is coming, and the followers of Jesus Christ will suffer persecution along with Israel, who is the heritage of our God, “For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.” Zechariah 2:8 Jesus Christ is coming back to bring us eternal life and this present heaven and earth will be destroyed.

The embalmment of Israel by the global government of the beast. Jesus Christ wept over the Jewish nation when they rejected Him the first time He came. Even then, Israel will always be a nation known as the people of God since the days of the Old Testament and will always be the root of the heritage of Christianity. The Holy Spirit represents that through Joseph’s weeping for Jacob (Israel), “Then Joseph fell on his father’s face and wept over him, and kissed him.” Genesis 50:1 The spoken word of God is Bible prophecy, and the Jewish nation has been embalmed referring to their rejection of Jesus Christ, the New Testament. Joseph represents the spoken word of God, “And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father. So the physicians embalmed Israel.” Genesis 50:2 Israel was embalmed according to the way of the Egyptians, representing how Israel is being embalmed by the global government of the mark of the beast. Already, The United Nation’s majority is outlawing Israel’s movements as an independent nation, and ever so slowly embalming them. Will Israel sign a peace accord to stave off world sanctions? Will it last? Is military violence in the future?

“Forty days were required for him, for such are the days required for those who are embalmed; and the Egyptians wept for him seventy days.” Genesis 50:3 The process of “embalmment” of a person or nation is always the same, which begins within the 40 days of the wilderness, being estranged from social integration. Israel is suffering that today, being legally isolated from the global government of the mark of the beast. With the global opposition towards Israel, there is military hostilities from those around them in the Middle East. They deny them a right to exist peacefully as an independent state. That tactic is used against the followers of Christ who refuse to go along with the society of those who live for the mark of the beast. With the external pressures and hostilities there is the internal pressures within thoughts, feelings, and emotions, which comes from the thing that has power over physiology. Those who live by the mark of the beast are very good at giving eulogies, which is a form of celebration to them of the passing of those who have stood in their way. For “seventy days” the global nations will be giving their flowery eulogies to Israel.

Requests are made to give Israel an honorable burial according to their heritage. The people of God, the followers of Jesus Christ, will want to pay their respects to Israel by honoring them according to their Biblical heritage. That is the way the Jewish people would want it, and the Jews around the world will want to honor Israel with an honorable burial. Even for that proper burial to take place, it will be under the authorization of the global government of the mark of the beast. They authorize any ceremony acknowledging the death of Israel’s Godly heritage while pretentiously uplifting their superiority over the people of God. However, they will not allow anyone to create a permanent memorial to the living God, they expect everyone to come back to them. That is spoken about here, “Now when the days of his mourning were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, please speak in the hearing of Pharaoh, saying, ‘My father made me swear, saying, “Behold, I am dying; in my grave which I dug for myself in the land of Canaan, there you shall bury me.” Now therefore, please let me go up and bury my father, and I will come back.’” And Pharaoh said, “Go up and bury your father, as he made you swear.” Genesis 50:4-6

The global Battle of Armageddon begins to form. There is going to be global tribulation, violence, and outright chaos worldwide around the time that the global government proclaims the death of Israel. The followers of Jesus Christ, and the people of God everywhere experience hardships of every type and physical persecution. Around this time, all the people who serve the government of the mark of the beast, and all of its chief leaders will be gathered. Jesus Christ is involved in this as He begins to bring His judgment against those who have come against God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Joseph represents Jesus, and Pharoah is the global government, “So Joseph went up to bury his father; and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt…” Genesis 50:7 With the Christless gathering, there is the gathering of those who come according to the will of God, “…as well as all the house of Joseph, his brothers, and his father’s house.” Genesis 50:8a. The gathering happens after the death of Israel, the people of God, which includes the persecution of the followers of Jesus Christ. That gathering represents the Battle of Armageddon which occurs just before the return of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit states that here, “And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen, and it was a very great gathering.” Genesis 50:9 In midst of the global clash, there will be a faithful few who have held to the testimony of Jesus Christ. They have kept themselves set apart from the ways and conflict of this world in the land of “Goshen,” as symbolized here, “Only their little ones, their flocks, and their herds they left in the land of Goshen.” Genesis 50:8b.

Global mourning comes due to the judgment brought against the global government. The threshing floor has come to symbolize judgment in the Bible, and now there is mourning on the threshing floor. For seven days there was a great and solemn time of weeping at the threshing floor, as written here, “Then they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, and they mourned there with a great and very solemn lamentation. He observed seven days of mourning for his father.” Genesis 50:10 Jesus Christ brings His judgment as He mourns for Israel and all those who suffer for the testimony of His name. However, the great lamentation and crying is from the people who have dedicated their life to the government of the mark of the beast. Their world has been destroyed, the power center of the mark of the beast has been plunged into darkness (leading to the war) (Revelation 16:8-21), the global economy is destroyed, and now the world is ravished with the violence of war. The Egyptians represents those living for the mark of the beast who are servants of Pharoah (the global government of the beast), “And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “This is a deep mourning of the Egyptians.” Therefore its name was called Mourning of Egypt, which is beyond the Jordan.” Genesis 50:11

Jesus Christ is returning, and we will all be with Him. We have a grave plot bought for us by the blood of Jesus Christ. Everyone who comes to God through Jesus Christ has a resting place in one of those plots. We are descendants of Abraham through Jesus, and our resting place is with him and all those made righteous in the eyes of God. The Holy Spirit is saying that here, “So his sons did for him just as he had commanded them. For his sons carried him to the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, before Mamre, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite as property for a burial place.” Genesis 50:12-13 Jesus Christ is returning, and when He does, we will all be resurrected from the grave to live with Him eternally. The Believers who are still alive will be brought up to Christ at the very same time. For “1000 years” we will live with Him on this earth, then the day of judgment comes for everyone. After that, this present heaven and earth is destroyed, and a new heaven and earth is created. That is when we enter into the New Jerusalem forever. Jospeh represents Jesus Christ in this verse, “And after he had buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, he and his brothers and all who went up with him to bury his father.” Genesis 50:14
