Jacob Dies after Explaining the Last Days According to the Names of the Twelve Tribes

Genesis 49:1-33

Before Jacob died, he gave a word to his twelve sons, the twelve tribes of Israel, about what would happen during the last days. Each tribe has a meaning for the last days, “And Jacob called his sons and said, Gather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days…” Genesis 49:1

This is a summary of the description of the last days, (is written in Genesis 49:1-27)

1. The last days are filled with people of dignity and power, but they are as unstable as water and will not excel, they are immoral. They are those who blaspheme God, reject the need for Jesus Christ, and trample on the Holy Spirit. They choose to live and govern by the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak. (Reuben)
2. There will be assemblies, such as the churches, congress of governments, the United Nations etc. that rule by cruel means. Their council is against the people of God as their assembly has no honor within the Holy Spirit. Within their despise, hatred, and anger they put to death the followers of Jesus Christ. That is the government of th0se who live by the thing which forms their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and speech. (Simeon and Levi)
3. Jesus Christ lives during the last days. His followers will praise Him as He puts His hand on the neck of those who live by the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak. That is our Salvation through the forgiveness of sin. All people will bow down before Him and every tongue confess that He is Lord of lords. He is the Lion of Judah who was resurrected from the dead to live eternally in the presence of God. He will forever have power and authority as the lawgiver and judge. He shed His blood on the Cross to make atonement for sin and to be the vine from which all His children grow. His eyes are darker than wine and His teeth whiter than milk. (Judah)
4. It will be a day of international commerce relating to the global economy of the global government of the beast. The global government of the beast rules through the masses of people in every city around the world who welcomes the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak. (Zebulun)
5. People will enjoy the physical comforts of life and become slaves to those who govern by the thing which forms what they feel, do, think, and speak. For money, possessions, and physical comforts they allow their body, mind, and heart to become the seat of government of the beast. (Issachar)
6. The Christless judgment of the masses who live by the thing with power to form thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and speech will be like a snake living in the way of where people go from day to day, whether to work, school, shopping, doctor visits, etc. They cause decent human beings to fall backwards as the people of God cry out, “I have waited for your Salvation O, God.” They are coming against the people of God. 7. The people of God will be trampled on, but we will triumph in the end. Jesus is coming and with him He brings eternal life. (Gad)
8. The last days will be dominated by people who live for the best of the dainties that this world offers, compared to the destitution and suffering of the people of God. (Asher)
9. They live by churchy and humanitarian sounding words which comes from the practice of humanism empowered by the thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and say. Their beautiful words flow like a deer let loose, enabled by the thing that has power over physiology to give uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, and emotional appeal. (Naphtali)
10. Those who follow Jesus Christ are fruitful in the Holy Spirit, living by the well of water that Jesus provides. We are constantly grieved by the archers who live for the social network of the “democratic” society of the beast. They shoot at us with mentally and emotionally hurtful words and physical burdens because of their hatred for the teachings of the Bible. They hate the human decency within the Holy Spirit. Even so, we remain strong in the testimony of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd and the Stone of our Salvation. We will receive the blessings of God from Heaven and will receive the blessing of eternal life in heaven. The blessing of Christianity is far greater than the blessing of the Jewish nation because we come to God through Jesus Christ. Our inheritance is eternal life through Jesus who wears the Royal Crown. (Joseph)
11. The world is dominated by the ravenous wolves who prey on those who live for the testimony of Jesus Christ, the people of God. Christianity is left destitute with minimal money, possessions, or physical comforts and their spoils are given to those who live for the government of the beast. (Benjamin)

The desire of all people who are considered righteous by God, through Jesus Christ, is to be among the family of God after we die. As we endure affliction in these last days, and as the persecution intensifies in coming days, our eye is on the inheritance of the afterlife. That was the case with Jacob, “Then he charged them and said to them: “I am to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite as a possession for a burial place.” Genesis 49:29-30

We will follow the many who have gone before us who have also believed God and followed the promise of the eternal inheritance, “There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife, there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife, and there I buried Leah. The field and the cave that is there were purchased from the sons of Heth.” Genesis 49:31-32 When we breathe our last, we will be gathered together with the people of God, in a new heaven and earth within the New Jerusalem. “And when Jacob had finished commanding his sons, he drew his feet up into the bed and breathed his last, and was gathered to his people.” Genesis 49:33

In today’s world, with everything happening in the Middle East with Israel, I wonder how long it will be before the Holy Land is given over into the hands of the global government of the beast. Also, with every obituary that this humanistic government gives, it is always flowery and filled with compliments. I can already hear the national and global leaders eulogizing Israel in how Godly and righteous they are to surrender their territory to the government of the beast. (Although it won’t be a surrender at all, more like a violent coercion and hostile takeover). But with the flowery and churchy sounding words of global leaders, Israel would be buried with their ancestors, in a manner of speaking.
