Dark secrets of the heart hold people captive to sin. The brothers of Joseph were not good, honest, and righteous people. For over thirteen years they had been harboring a deep dark secret, they threw their brother into a pit, and told Jacob their father that Joseph was dead. This is the same as the blackness of the heart of the Pharisees and Sadducees who conspired to throw Jesus Christ into the pit of the grave. They were supposed to be the Jewish brotherhood of Christ, but they betrayed Him. Today, there are many who have dark secrets of dirty acts committed against others. Their sins are hidden by the thing that has power over physiology and is able to control feelings, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. People with the darkest of hearts can appear sweet, likeable, cordial, and loved by many. They live by the mark of beast and are hostile to the Spirit of Christ because He causes their hidden darkness to be exposed. The threat of exposure acts as a deterrent to keep people from repenting of their sins and keeping them captive to Christless ways. The persecution of those who embrace the teachings of Jesus are born from that captivity.
Jesus Christ wants our mind and heart to be filled with the Bread of Life. Jesus Christ came as the Bread of Life to provide food for the soul within a world filled with dark, secretive, and treacherous hearts. His food is the word of God and helps us through this journey of life. Jesus filled the blackened mind and heart of the Pharisees and Sadducees with the grain of the New Covenant. His words would be tortuously with them until the day they died, filled with regret for what they had done. The Holy Spirit represents that when Joseph filled the sacks of his black-hearted brothers with grain, “Then Joseph gave a command to fill their sacks with grain, to restore every man’s money to his sack, and to give them provisions for the journey. Thus he did for them.” Genesis 42:25 When I think of a donkey, I often think of the Democrats, “left wing,” “progressives”. They would be somewhat shocked to see the Bread of Life loaded into their Christless agenda of solidifying the global government. Why are they not able to rejoice in the presence of the Spirit of Christ? It would be like accepting money from a Republican lobby group. Joseph is symbolic of Jesus Christ loading the world with His teachings, “So they loaded their donkeys with the grain and departed from there. But as one of them opened his sack to give his donkey feed at the encampment, he saw his money; and there it was, in the mouth of his sack.” Genesis 42:26-27
The Bread of Life is a curse to people with dark secrets. People whose heart is filled with deep dark secrets are not able to rejoice when the Bread of Life fills their mind and heart. It makes their heart sink because they know it threatens to reveal the dark actions they have committed against others. Those who govern by the mark of the beast is vigilant against repentance. The Pharisees and Sadducees could not be comforted by the Bread Life swarming in their mind and heart because it would ruin them. They could have been stoned to death, or exiled, or be totally destitute, and they came against repentance through Jesus Christ in a powerful way. In the presence of the Spirit of Christ, people with deep dark secrets cry out, “What is this that God has done to us?” “So he said to his brothers, “My money has been restored, and there it is, in my sack!” Then their hearts sank and they were afraid, saying to one another, “What is this that God has done to us?” Genesis 42:28
Dark hearted people draw the followers of Christ into their problems. The people with the darkest hearts and deepest secrets are the same ones who bring their woes to innocent people. They are people with a pleasant smile, attractive appearance, and are supported by the many people who know them. Their intent is to solicit sympathy and support towards them and away from allegiance to the goodness of God. They detest being judged by the standards of the teachings of Jesus. They are living for the mark of the beast, in the name of humanism, and have the support of the Christless social network. The Pharisees and Sadducees were like that when they turned the Jewish people against Jesus when they demanded His crucifixion in front of Pilate. The Jewish leaders detested the judgment of Christ against them and got the people involved in their dark scheme. That is represented by the Holy Spirit when Joseph’s brothers went to their father. The brothers have harbored for thirteen years the dark secret of what they did to Joseph and have told their father that Joseph is dead. Now they are playing the victim to their innocent father after being harshly judged by Joseph, “Then they went to Jacob their father in the land of Canaan and told him all that had happened to them, saying: “The man who is lord of the land spoke roughly to us, and took us for spies of the country.” Genesis 42:29-30
Dark hearted people deceitfully talk about their closeness with the Godly people they subdue. The brothers were far from being innocent after what they did to Joseph, even though they said, “But we said to him, “We are honest men; we are not spies.” Genesis 42:31 Joseph knew that was a lie because he is who they betrayed, the same way that Jesus Christ sees the sin of those who throw Him under the bus. They were no more brothers to Joseph than what the Jewish “brothers” of the Pharisees and Sadducees were to Jesus Christ. They continued to declare their self-righteousness by saying Abraham was their Father and that Christ was the harsh one. They are like Joseph’s brothers who said, “We are twelve brothers, sons of our father;” Genesis 42:32a. Today, the reason the Spirit of Christ is scarce in this world is because the masses are responsible for making Him the one who “is no more,” and that is truth coming from a dark heart, “…one is no more…” Genesis 42:32b. Joseph is the one who they said, “is no more,” but yet he was alive and hearing the lies against him. It’s like the Christless world of today saying Christianity is no more, but Jesus Christ is alive and hears it all. The youngest brother, Benjamin, was in Canaan with his father, and his name for the last days means a ravenous wolf who devours the prey in the morning (Genesis 49:1-27). From the dark heart of the brothers, that truth also came out, “…and the youngest is with our father this day in the land of Canaan.’” Genesis 42:32c. The Pharisees and Sadducees always harbored a ravenous wolf in their heart against Christ, even as the society of the mark of the beast does today.
Jesus binds the worse to bring Holiness through the Bread of Life. The brother that was bound and kept with Joseph was Simeon, whose last days meaning (Genesis 49) is someone whose place is with the instruments of cruelty, and no honor is attached to the council of his assembly because it is filled with anger, wrath, and murder. After binding him, Joseph sent his brothers home with grain. “Then the man, the lord of the country, said to us, ‘By this I will know that you are honest men: Leave one of your brothers here with me, take food for the famine of your households, and be gone.” Genesis 42:33. This also symbolizes how the Pharisees and Sadducees assembled together to conspire against Christ, but they were bound from stopping the Word of God from going out. This also symbolizes the process of Holiness as Jesus Christ binds the worst in us, removes us from the Christless assembly, and gives us the Bread of Life to feed on.
Global tribulation come by the dealings of those who discard the Spirit of Christ. By the spoken word of God within the prophecy of the Bible, Benjamin would be brought up at the same time that Simeon is released. At that time, there would be economic freedom, or I would say the global economy of the beast would be functioning. That is stated here, “And bring your youngest brother to me; so I shall know that you are not spies, but that you are honest men. I will grant your brother to you, and you may trade in the land.’” Genesis 42:34. We already know, like Joseph knew, that his brothers were not honest men, but full of deceit and darkness. All through the Bible three things come together, which are the last days meaning (Genesis 49) of “Simeon,” “Bemjamin,” and the global economy (which is the global government of the mark of the beast). There is the cruel and vicious assembly which conspires to persecute the people of God (Simeon), the ravenous wolf who tears apart the prey (Benjamin), and the global economy. All of this is by the hand of God because hearts are hardened to Him, and they embrace the mark of the beast in the name of humanism.
When Jesus was on this earth, His life was taken, but yet He lives. The death of Christ will always be a mark against the Jewish nation. In the beginning of Jewish ancestry, Simeon (Genesis 29:33) meant that “God hears I’m unloved” (referring to giving a son to make her be loved), and Benjamin (Genesis 35:16-20) meant “Suffering Son” or “Right-hand Son” (Rachael named him “Suffering Son” as she died in childbirth, so Joseph called him “Right Hand Son”). With the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Jewish forefathers lost their claim to their Messiah, to the Son their heritage gave birth to. Th Jewish nation had a chance to be greatly loved for birthing the Savior of the world, but it all slipped through their hands. With their role in the crucifixion of Christ, they not only lost Jesus but also the initial meaning of the names of Simeon and Benjamin are no more. They are now known for the last days meaning of Simeon and Benjamin, as an assembly of plotters of death and ravenous wolves. “And Jacob their father said to them, “You have bereaved me: Joseph is no more, Simeon is no more, and you want to take Benjamin. All these things are against me.” Genesis 42:36
The terror of the evil and Godly in possessing what they should not have. During the time of the global economy and conspiracy against the Gospel of Christ and Christians, which is already here, the masses of the world are living for the mark of the beast, the global “democracy.” It relates to money and possessions as well as to the grain of the Bread of Life. Before, one brother discovered that he still had his money, and now all the brothers realize that they still have the money, “Then it happened as they emptied their sacks, that surprisingly each man’s bundle of money was in his sack; and when they and their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid.” Genesis 42:35. Not only is it a terror for people with dark secrets to harbor the grain and money of the Spirit of Christ, but it is also a terror to have resources not credited to a person by those who govern by the mark of the beast. That relates to only being able to buy, sell, receive, or give if a person is living according to the mark of the beast.
Agreements with the dark hearted is asking for affliction. The last days meaning of Reuben (Genesis 49) is someone who is as unstable as water and would never excel. He gave his unstable word to his father that Jacob could kill his two sons if Simeon was not brought back to him. “Then Reuben spoke to his father, saying, “Kill my two sons if I do not bring him back to you; put him in my hands, and I will bring him back to you.” Genesis 42:37. Of course, that didn’t sound like a very good plan to a Godly person like Jacob who was innocent in the eyes of God, as stated here, “But he said, “My son shall not go down with you, for his brother is dead, and he is left alone. If any calamity should befall him along the way in which you go, then you would bring down my gray hair with sorrow to the grave.” Genesis 42:38. As followers of Jesus Christ, promises coming from the treachery of a dark heart, which defiles God, is nothing but bad news for us. It’s like asking to be conspired against and waiting for the ravenous wolf to come and tear us apart. We can understand that they intend to bring the followers of Christ down with sorrow to the grave.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
