“I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth…I, the Lord, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.”

Isaiah 45:18-19

For thus says the Lord, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the Lord, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:18

The Lord God is the Creator of the heavens, “And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.” Genesis 1:7 The Lord God formed the earth and established it, “And God said, “Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas; and God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:9-10 The planet has not been created in vain, but God has created it to be inhabited, “And God said, “Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.”…And God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth after his kind”; and it was so….And God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:20,24, 26 For the account of creation, click here for the scripture from Genesis 1.

The order of creation was known in detail by the writer of Genesis, without having to be there to witness it himself. Of course, God’s creation happened way before the creation of human beings. In that light, we see how the Spirit of God works through people to reveal things that would not be known otherwise. Or rather, God revealed things from far into the past that were not possible to be known for hundreds, and thousands, and many, many of years to come. From the time human beings began to write and record events, God began to reveal to us that He is the Lord, and there is no other.

“I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth; I did not say to the seed of Jacob, ‘Seek Me in vain’; I, the Lord, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.” Isaiah 45:19

Our Lord God does not speak to us in secret in some dark place of the earth, “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation…” 2 Peter 1:19-20 “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” 1 John 1:5

To Israel and to all the people of the world, God makes it clear that He never says, “Seek Me in vain“. He has made it possible for everyone to see Him, to see His word, and to understand the prophecies He has spoken. God sent His Son, Jesus, to reveal Himself to us, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth... In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” John 1:14, John 1:4-5 Christ Jesus says, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father;” John 14:9 Jesus explains to us what the work of God is, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” John 6:29 The Lord, speaks righteousness and declares things that are right.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

We live in a world where today’s culture lives by the power of darkness through the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. The beast that governs from within them is kept as a secret from a dark place of the “earth”. No one anywhere is bringing to light that there is a presence in this world that has power over physiology to give people what to say and do. Politicians are not speaking about it. Those of the educational system are not speaking about it. Community leaders are not speaking about it. The grassroots population is not speaking about it. And the fallen churches are certainly not warning against it. The only place where light shines into darkness is in the Bible. The word of God plainly says that the beast sits in the temple of God, our body, as if it is God. The beast does that by giving people what to feel, think, say, and do and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click for a post on that.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.‘…I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.’” Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1

In context with the previous verses of Isaiah 45, the Lord did not speak in secret concerning Cyrus, a Persian Gentile and military conqueror, who God raised up in righteousness. For Cyrus to be raised up in righteousness meant that the Lord would use him to free the Israelites from Babylonian captivity. For the Lord to give Cyrus the treasures of darkness and secret riches meant that Cyrus would be given the earthly treasures and riches of the nations he conquered. That is spoken about in the post on Isaiah 45:1-7. Cyrus was spoken about years before his birth, before he was even formed in the womb. God raised up Cyrus as a way to demonstrate that He has the power to make the most powerful worldly leaders an instrument in His hand to fulfill His purpose on this earth.

An excerpt from the scriptures of Isaiah 45:1-7 is directly below,

“Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—To subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors…I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel…I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other…I have raised him up in righteousness,” Isaiah 45:1, 3-5, 13
