“Whatever one is, he has been named already, for it is known that he is man;
And he cannot contend with Him who is mightier than he.
Since there are many things that increase vanity, how is man the better?”
Ecclesiastes 6:10-11
“Those who make an image, all of them are useless, and their precious things will not profit; They are their own witnesses; They neither see nor know, that they may be ashamed.” Isaiah 44:9
All of the images made by those of this world are useless. Where do those images come from? They come from within the heart of those who create them. In other words, the image is coming from within the creature instead of coming from the Creator. Those useless images have no more power than the hearts and minds of the people who create them. People serve an image that they create, which mirrors the world we live in today that believes in evolution as their creator and discards God the Creator, “Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.” Romans 1:22-23
“But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that any should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.” John 2:24-25 We must conform ourselves to the image of Jesus Christ and not commit ourselves to today’s culture, which is global.
Those who make their own image to serve are actually living by the image of the beast that is given breath/life to speak by speaking and living through them. The beast speaks and lives through people by giving them what to say and do. By what they are given to say and do, their identity is being created and that is the image that they live by. They adopt any lifestyle except one that embraces belief in God the Creator, or that acknowledges Jesus as the Christ and Lord, or that embraces the Holy Spirit as part of who they are.
The “precious” things are the treasures of their spiritually corrupt heart which will not profit them. As we see today, those precious things include honor, dignity, and respect for one another based on who they are within the image of themselves that has been created from a spiritually corrupt heart, “How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?” John 5:44 They also treasure the “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations that promises to bring salvation to humanity and the planet, but without God, Jesus the Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Above all, they treasure the beast that empowers them with uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and talents, amazing physical abilities, uncanny authority over others, etc. As our Lord Jesus says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21 Their heart is with the global culture, with the goals of the global government, and with the image of the beast that speaks and lives through them.
The treasures of their heart will not profit them. The government of the beast and its global culture will be destroyed. The power center of the beast will be plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. That renders the global government and its global culture powerless, meaning they will no longer be empowered by the beast that has power over physiology and gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. In that powerlessness, comes the Battle of Armageddon of Revelations 12-16. Then Christ Jesus returns in combination with the Seventh Plague of Revelations 16:17-21 and the Seventh Trumpet of Revelations 11:15-19. That is known as the Day of the Lord as described in Zachariah 14 and also in Zephaniah chapters 1, 2, and 3.
Global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9 and is instrumental in plunging the power center of the beast into darkness.
Today’s culture is living by the power of darkness and are their own witnesses instead of living by the witness of Jesus Christ, who is the Light of World. They witness about one another as a collective force in every city around the world. Their witness is loudly heard as they boast in their attitude and behavior, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Even though they verbally boast, “I see”, or “I know”, they only see within the physical realm by the empowerment of the beast that gives them uncanny knowledge and heightened intuition. They neither see nor know that they may be ashamed. “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord...For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” 2 Corinthians 3:18, Romans 8:29
“…we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—” Ephesians 4:14-15
“Who would form a god or mold an image that profits him nothing? Surely all his companions would be ashamed; And the workmen, they are mere men. Let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; Yet they will fear, they will be ashamed together.” Isaiah 44:10-11
Creating a god from the human heart, which happens when living for the image of the beast that gives what to say and do, is not profitable after everything is said and done. Who would give their life to something that is unprofitable, and destructive? The entire culture of today, which is global, are going to be ashamed. Those who work for the beast are only human, whose power is limited to this world, and contained within the flesh, “…all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, But the word of the Lord endures forever.” 1 Peter 1:24-25 We who live for Jesus Christ have hope beyond this world that extends into eternal life. We have a life that is not bound to living by the carnal nature of the flesh, but we are able to live in the presence of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ.
Today, the global culture is gathered together, and they are standing up in every city around the world. With them, the global government is standing up through the assembly of the United Nations. The UN was established in 1945, immediately after World War 2, and brought the government of the beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14 and also Revelations 17.
The government of the beast and its global culture will fear and be ashamed together. They will be facing the events within the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9, and 11. They will be facing the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10. They will be facing the events of the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16. And they will be facing the following, “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelations 14:9-11
“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” Revelations 1:7
Global warming is already in the world and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9
“…to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
