Who has measured the waters, the skies, calculated the dust of the earth, and weighed the mountains and hills?

“Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, measured heaven with a span and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?” Isaiah 40:12

God is the Creator of all the waters of the earth, and prophetically, the question remains, “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand?” We are living in the generation that is doing just that, measuring the waters of the earth. There is talk worldwide of water shortages, and two of the largest fresh water supplies in the United States of America are at dangerously low levels. That includes Lake Meade and Lake Powel. Lake Meade was filled in the 1930’s, just 15 years before the United Nations was established in 1945. At full capacity, Lake Meade is at 1,220 feet above sea level, and as of August 20226, the water level was at 1040 feet. Each inch of drop in water level means billions of gallons less water. Envision how many inches are in 200 feet of water and that is how many billion gallons of water that is no longer available. That is about 2400 inches or almost 2 1/2 trillion gallons of water no longer available to the public. The cause? Drought due to global warming and the absence of snow from the Rocky Mountains. Lake Meade is a critical water supply for people across seven states and Mexico, and for agriculture, businesses, and hydropower. Currently, Lake Meade is just a little bit above the level necessary to generate Hoover Dam’s turbine. If the water level falls below that, electricity supply would fall by 70%. That answers the question, “Who is measuring the waters in the hollow of His hand?”

When the United Nations was established in 1945, it brought the government of the beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14 and Revelations 17. Global warming, the driver of climate change and drought, is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. “Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” Revelation 16:8-9

God is the Creator of all the skies above us, and prophetically, the question remains, “Who is measuring the skies?” Today’s generation is. Who hasn’t heard about how the skies are becoming thin and the protective atmosphere of the earth is fading away. That is associated with the danger of the intense heat of global warming, the danger of having no protection from being hit by meteors, space junk, etc. Even space is being measured due to the many space satellites, space station, and even the placement of military weapons in space. Ezekiel gives a prophecy about the space shuttle, space station, and space satellites as described in the post on Ezekiel chapter 1. All of those things have become concerns since after the United Nations was formed in 1945. That answers the question, “Who is measuring the skies?”

God is the Creator of all the mountains and the hills, and prophetically, the question remains, “Who is weighing the mountains and hills in a scale and balance?” We are living a generation that is doing just that. Mountains are being affected by rising temperatures that is altering precipitation, causing the shrinkage of glaciers, and increasing environmental hazards. Animals are being driven into extinction due to not being able to find livable habitats quick enough and vegetation is disappearing. Avalanches, landslides, and river floods are becoming more common and dangerous to communities. Mountain glaciers are retreating globally due to rising temperatures. Communities depend on those glaciers for water as they melt. What is happening to the mountains and hills has accelerated since the United Nations was established in 1945. That answers the question, “Who is weighing the mountains and hills in a scale and balance?

Our Lord God has calculated the dust of the earth, and today’s global government seem to be calculating the dust of the earth instead of the fertility of an earthly Garden of Eden.

“Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has taught Him? With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding?” Isaiah 40:13-14

Today’s world system has certainly not directed the Spirit of the Lord, nor has it taught Him anything, nor has it counseled Him in the way of justice, nor has enlightened Him nor showed Him the way of understanding. Today’s culture, which is global, lives for the power of darkness through the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. They are empowered with uncanny knowledge and heightened intuition that despises the Light of knowledge and understanding that comes by belief in God the Creator, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Today’s culture depends on the beast to be the savior of humanity and the planet by the power it has over physiology. “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-19 Quoted from Isaiah 29:14.

“Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales; Look, He lifts up the isles as a very little thing. And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its beasts sufficient for a burnt offering. All nations before Him are as nothing, and they are counted by Him less than nothing and worthless.” Isaiah 40:15-17

For Lebanon to be “not sufficient to burn, nor its beasts” refers to using its thriving forests of cedar trees to burn fire to offer up animal sacrifices. There isn’t enough of anything in this present world system of the beast that is sufficient to offer up to God as an atonement for sin. We can only be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, who gives us the Holy Spirit so that we can fellowship with Him. “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the lamb!” Revelations 7:10

How can we know that we have the Holy Spirit? If we do not speak against Jesus Christ and say that He is Lord, then we have the Holy Spirit, “Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3

“…by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:10-12

 “And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!” Mark 4:37-41
