“For My sword will be bathed in heaven; Indeed it will come down on Edom, and on the people of My curse, for judgment.” Isaiah 34:5
We know the sword of the Lord is being bathed with the prayers of everyone who believes in Him and His Son Jesus Christ. Those prayers will be filled with fire from the Altar of God and be thrown to earth to bring judgment within the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9, and 11, as quoted, “And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.” Revelations 8:2-5 Click for post on Revelations 8.

Edom is Esau, as quoted, “So Esau dwelt in Mount Seir. Esau is Edom.” Genesis 36:8 Esau had the birthright to the blessings of God but sold it to Jacob for a bowl of stew, as described in Genesis 25:29-34. That represents the culture of today who has sold themselves to the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. They have sold themselves for the physiological needs of the body and have given up life in the Spirit. They have given up their right to live for God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. They choose to live in the darkness, away from the Light of Jesus Christ, as they crucify His existence in this world. They are keeping Him guarded in the tomb of the soul of people to prevent the born-again experience and the resurrection of new life within the heart, mind, and soul. Everyone who rejects Jesus Christ and opposes the presence of the Holy Spirit are the people of the Lord’s curse.
“The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is made overflowing with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.” Isaiah 34:6
Fatness means an abundance, and to overflow with fatness means a lot of abundance. That overflowing abundance is referring to the blood that the sword of the Lord will be filled with. The fat of kidneys was used in making sacrifices to the Lord and considered the choicest part of an animal. Likewise, lambs and goats were used in sacrifices and slaughtered by the multitude. The Spirit of the Lord is saying that He is going to make a bloody sacrifice of the global government of the beast and its global culture. “For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” Revelations 16:6 Click for post on Revelations 16.
Bozrah was a fortified stronghold of Edom, the capital of Edom. Bozrah means “fortress” or “sheepfold”. The Lord is going to bring down the fortified stronghold of the government of the beast by plunging the power center of the beast into darkness, as described in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. The Lord will be making a sacrifice in the global city of the beast and a great slaughter of everyone who rejected Him for physiological empowerment. The Battle of Armageddon happens within the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-16, then Christ Jesus returns when the Seventh Trumpet blows in Revelations 11:15-19.
“Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” Revelations 19:17-18
“The wild oxen will come down with them, and the young bulls with the mighty bulls; Their land will be soaked with blood, and their dust saturated with fatness.” Isaiah 34:7
In the Spirit of the Lord, “wild” means not submitting to God the Creator, revolting against the need for Christ Jesus, and rebelling against the presence of the Holy Spirit. Oxen represent sacrifice and service. Those wild oxen are those who present themselves into service of the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. They have sacrificed themselves to the beast that gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they are given to say and do, people are conformed to the mark, name, number of the beast. Those “wild oxen” will come down when the Lord pours out His wrath upon this earth.
The young and mighty bulls will be among those slaughtered, representing the power and strength of those committing idolatry with the beast. Today, they are those boasting in their attitude and behavior, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelations 13:4 They are those for whom the following verse is written, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself will also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelations 14:9-11
For dust to be saturated with fatness means that there will be more dust than what anyone will know what to do with. That dust represents absolute infertility of any viable prospect for the government of the beast and its global culture. They make dust of belief in God, the desire for Jesus Christ, and life in the Holy Spirit, and they themselves will be turned to dust in abundance. “For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” Revelations 16:6
Their land will be soaked with blood, and their dust saturated with fatness.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
