Israel and the global government has made a covenant with death, and with Hell they are in agreement.

“Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we are in agreement. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.” Isaiah 28:14-15

To be scornful in in the eyes of the Lord is to openly disrespect God the Creator, with an intense dislike for Jesus Christ, and mocking the presence of the Holy Spirit. The leaders of the Israelites were scornful with the word of God and that showed in how they ruled over the people. That is also seen in how the Pharisees scorned Jesus Christ and that showed in how they led the Jewish people with corruption and hypocrisy, as described in Matthew 23. The scorn of the leaders of the Jewish people of today is also seen in how they rule over their people, and most visibly seen within the State of Israel. They have contempt for the word of God by rejecting Jesus as the Christ and Son of God. The leaders of the State of Israel have led their people into 19 wars since they were gathered to Israel in 1948, the Israelis have the most liberal abortion rights laws in the world, and they openly embrace the LGBQT lifestyles.

The leaders of the Israelites made a “covenant with death” and made an agreement with hell. That means they made oaths, promises, and agreements that bonded them to the ways of the world around them, while tearing up the covenant and agreement that God made with them, which is as quoted, “This is the covenant created by God, ‘Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you will be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you will be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’” Exodus 19:4-5 That covenant and agreement was tore up when they rejected Jesus as the Christ and Son of God 2000 years ago. Jesus says that Satan is their father, revealing how they have made a covenant with death and an agreement with hell, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.” John 8:44

The Lord has made the New Covenant through Jesus Christ, which makes anyone who has faith in Him His special treasure, and to Him we are a nation of priests and are Holy, as quoted, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10 The New Covenant is this, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

The leaders of the Israelites convinced the people that they were safe from the “overflowing scourge” because they were living in agreement with the ways of the world around them. The same as the Pharisees convinced the Jewish people that they were safe from the “overflowing scourge” from them and the Romans if they turned away and rejected Jesus Christ. That is the same as the leaders of the State of Israel convincing their people that they will be safe from the “overflowing scourge” of the nations around them by forming an agreement with the United States rooted in military power and might. They trust in guns and bombs but reject life in the Holy Spirit given by Christ Jesus, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6 Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

The leaders over the Israelites were lying to the people as a refuge for maintaining their agreement made with the nations around them. They were hiding their true motives under the cover of falsehoods. In other words, the truth of the word of God was avoided in order to deceive the people into believing that they would be safe by aligning with worldly standards. That is what the Pharisees were doing as Jesus said this about them, “For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” Matthew 23:4 Jesus said they wanted to make themselves look Godly for public purposes, but were filled with death, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.” Matthew 23:27 Today, the leaders over the Jewish people, as visibly seen from the State of Israel, want to appear righteous in what they say and how they are leading the people, but they have made a “covenant with death”.

The global leaders of today, over the population of the world, are scornful people who have made a covenant with death and are in agreement with hell. They are scornful of belief in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as they embrace the beast that governs through what they are given to speak, do, think, and feel. The purpose of that beast is to give breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what people are given to say and do, they are conformed to the mark, name, number of the beast .

The leaders within cities, states, and nations around the world tells the population of people that the overflowing scourging against them will never happen. They promote their lies and hide under the falsehood created through the image of an earthly Garden of Eden, as promoted through their “Sustainable Development Goals”. “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness…A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness…” Joel 2:2-3

The global leaders have a form of Godliness but deny the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, “…having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”2 Timothy 3:5 They are those who are like whitewashed tombs which appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. The fig leaf of humanism is the cover of falsehood worn by those who govern according to what the beast gives them to say, do, feel, and think. Humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”

Click for post on Daniel 8:1-14 about how truth is thrown to the ground by the government of the beast and its global culture. “Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this and prospered.” Daniel 8:12 The transgression is the rejection of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Th army is the masses of the global culture who have given themselves over to the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. They oppose people sacrificing and devote themselves daily to God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Truth is thrown to ground by the beast who lives and speaks through them, as the collective will of the global population has replaced truth. For example, because the majority says that killing the unborn is O.K. it becomes accepted as a standard practice. All other truth is thrown aside. Today, they prosper, but in the future, there is destruction and hell.

The overflowing scourge is coming upon this world on a global scale, and prospering will be out of the picture. Global warming is already here and will become more intense as the days progress. Global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 8:1-14. The overflowing scourge comes through the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9, and 11, the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10, and the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16.
