Dining with Christ brings us into the presence of the Holy Spirit as He atones for sin and gives eternal life.

Isaiah 25:6-9

“And in this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of well-refined wines on the lees.” Isaiah 25:6

The mountain is referring to Mt. Zion, “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant…” Hebrews 12:22-24

The Lord has prepared a feast for every single person of all nations of this world. The invitation to that feast comes through Jesus Christ, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” Revelations 19:9 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelations 3:20

I’m drinking at the fountain
that never will run dry;
Oh, yes! I’m feasting on the manna
from a bountiful supply,
For I am dwelling in Beulah Land.
[Dwelling in Beulah Land]

“But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the Lord delights in you…” Isaiah 62:4
Beulah means to marry or be married, married to the Lord through Jesus Christ.

“And He will destroy on this mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.” Isaiah 25:7

On Mount Zion, the Lord destroys the covering and veil that covers the population of nations on all the earth. That covering and veil is what separates us from entering into the presence of God, and prevents us from living in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The same covering and veil that remains over the Jewish people to this day, is the same that separates those of this world from seeing the Lord and coming into the presence of God, as quoted, “But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:14-18

When our Lord Jesus breathed His last breath when He died upon the Cross, that is the moment that sin was atoned for, the veil was removed, and anyone who believes in Him can come into the presence of God through Jesus Christ. “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom...” Matthew 27:50-51

Heaven came down and glory
filled my soul,
When at the cross the Savior
made me whole;
My sins were washed away and
my night was turned to day,
Heaven came down and glory
filled my soul!
[Heaven Came Down]

“He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 25:8

Our Lord Jesus breathed His last breath on the Cross to atone for sin, and that was just the beginning of what the Lord intends for us. He was removed from the Cross, laid in the grave for three days, then God raised Him from the dead. “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen…” Matthew 28:5-6 Jesus Christ swallowed up death forever, and lives eternally with His Father God in a place called Heaven. As the Christ Jesus says, “Because I live, you will live also.” John 14:19

Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes,
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever, With His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
[He Arose]

Our home is in the eternal New Jerusalem, “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Revelations 21:4-5

Today, we live in an atheistic culture that rebukes belief in God, rebukes people who acknowledge Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, and rebukes the life of Holiness that comes in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Our Lord removes that rebuke from us when He returns to bring us to our eternal home to be with Him forever. With that, He removes the rebuke of sin through His grace, mercy, and forgiveness, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2

“And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord;
We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” Isaiah 25:9

Our lord Jesus is returning, we are waiting for Him, the day of our eternal Salvation. Global warming is here, and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. Global warming is a sign for all the world to see that the hand of the Lord is very active in the world today, and His word is truth. “He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” Revelations 22:20-21

“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it…Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. God is the Lord, and He has given us light…You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You.Psalms 118:24-28

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1

The Holy Spirit in us is the evidence of our inheritance in the eternal New Jerusalem, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14 We are the purchased possession, purchased by the blood Christ Jesus shed on the Cross to atone for sin. The redemption is the redemption of our earthly body into an eternal body.
