The “terrible nations” will be reduced as heat in a dry place; and the song of the terrible ones will be diminished.

“O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” Isaiah 25:1

“Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.” Revelations 22:6

“For You have made a city a ruin, a fortified city a ruin, a palace of foreigners to be a city no more; It will never be rebuilt.” Isaiah 25:2

The city made ruin is prophetic for the “city” of the global government of the beast and its global culture being made a ruin. Today, it is a “fortified city”, as those of the global culture of the beast boasts, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelations 13:4 The beast fortifies the “city” by its power over physiology to govern by giving people what to speak, do, think, and feel. The beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they are given to say and do, they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. They exalt themselves above God. They feel no remorse and no need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They oppose, ridicule, and manipulate the presence of the Holy Spirit as they detest the life of Holiness. The world fills with anti-social activity, with no empathy for others within their superficial charm.

The ruin of the government of the beast is dealt a fatal blow when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. The beast will be powerless to govern through the physiology of people. The empowerment of uncanny knowledge will be gone, no more heightened intuition, extraordinary talents and skills gone, no uncanny authority over others, etc.

A short time after the United Nations is established as the undisputed one world government of the beast, they are faced with ruin. After “1/2 hour”, their ruin begins to come through the events of the Seven Trumpets in Revelation 8, 9, and 11, the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10, and the events of the Seven Plagues in Revelation 16.

The “palace of foreigners” refers to the “palace” of this planet that houses those who govern and live for the beast. They are foreigners to God the Creator, foreigners to the way of Christ Jesus, foreigners to the presence of the Holy Spirit in their life. There will never be another government built to replace the undisputed one world government that is forming in the world today. “A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness…” Joel 2:2-3

“Even though Edom has said, “We have been impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places,” Thus says the Lord of hosts: “They may build, but I will throw down; They will be called the Territory of Wickedness, and the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever.” Malachi 1:4 Click for the post on Malachi 1:1-5 on the Territory of Wickedness.

This present heaven and earth will pass away, and our Lord creates a new heaven and earth where our eternal home exists within the New Jerusalem.

“Therefore the strong people will glorify You; The city of the terrible nations will fear You. For You have been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.” Isaiah 25:3-4

The “strong people” are everyone of us who lives for God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are those who  confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead. We are His saved ones. “…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

The people and nations of the global culture of the beast will fear the Lord Jesus Christ upon His return, “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” Revelations 1:7 Every person of this atheistic culture will fear Him on the day of judgment, beyond the grave, as described in Revelations 20:11-14.

The Christ, whose name is Jesus, is a strength to the poor, strength to the needy in distress, and a refuge from the storm. This is prophetically written about Christ Jesus, and read by Him, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19 Jesus spoke the words written in Matthew 5:3-10.

“For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.” The culture of the beast opposes the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and come against the followers of Jesus Christ like a blast of a storm. They are hateful, cruel, malicious, harsh, stirs up conflict, arrogant, compels sadness, solicits despair, calls goodness evil, quick-tempered, compels people to give up, and incites out -of-control behaviors. Their day is “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness…” Joel 2:2

“You will reduce the noise of aliens, as heat in a dry place; As heat in the shadow of a cloud, the song of the terrible ones will be diminished.” Isaiah 25:5

The Lord will reduce the “noise of the aliens”, meaning He will permanently silence the global government of the beast. He silences them as “heat in a dry place”, meaning He is bringing the scorching heat of global warming upon them, which is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. Global warming plays a role in destroying the power center of the beast, silencing the worldwide population of the beast. The collapse of the power center of the beast happens in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11.

“Heat in the shadow of a cloud” can refer to the clouds being without water in the heat of the sun. Also, can mean that the “noise of the aliens” will be reduced in that we who live for Jesus Christ have shade in the presence of the Holy Spirit, through our sanctification in a lawless world. As our Lord Jesus prays for us, “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.” John 17:15-19

“The song of the terrible ones will be diminished.” The culture of the beast may be singing now, but their song comes to an end, “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” John 16:20 Click here for a post on the merriment of this world ceasing, as described in Isaiah 24:7-13.

This is said about those of the culture of the beast, “These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.” Jude 1:12-13
