Shy Away from Materialism to Live for Jesus Christ

Acts 20:33-35

Shy Away from Materialism and Help the Weak.
Why all the fuss over whether someone has a lot of money or possessions? Humanism does not recognize Divine rewards, only tangible things such as money and possessions. Those who govern by the mark of the beast discards anything Divine related to eternal rewards through Jesus Christ, scoffs at the gift of the Holy Spirit, and mocks the existence of God. Humanism is the sheep’s clothing that is worn by those who live by the mark of the beast. To shy away from money, possessions, and any other tangible reward is to reject the humanistic government which functions through the mark of the beast. Paul wanted to be clear about that, “I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions.

The foreign god spoken about in the verse below is the god of the mark of the beast which will not honor ancestors, traditions, nor cultural heritage. It is a god that has never ever been known before until from WW2. It’s reward system comes through money, possessions, and every tangible gift imaginable, and with those rewards it greatly honors those who lives by the mark of the beast. They are also given the humanistic rewards such as authority and plots of land. In other words, they dominate economic development. As Jesus Christ Himself said, “For what shall it profit a man, if he will gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36

“Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses; a god unknown to his ancestors
he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.
He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god
and will greatly honor those who acknowledge it.
He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land as a reward”
Daniel 11:38-30

Instead of focusing on the rewards that come from the atheistic system of humanism which embraces the mark of the beast, we should help the weak. We should help those who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ, obviously not so much with possessions, but through the Spirit of Jesus Christ. We should be able to say with Paul, “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus Himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Personally, I don’t have a penny to my name. I do have this blog to glorify the name of Jesus Christ and to spread the Gospel, and I have clothing with wording to lift up the name of Jesus. Other than that, I’m living in a type of hospice with the IV lines being SNAP benefits, housing assistance, and a minimal amount of social security for retirement. I’ve been homeless in the past for a year, yet I continue living for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.
You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs
and the needs of my companions.
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said:
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Acts 20:33-35

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
