“Take counsel, execute judgment; Make your shadow like the night in the middle of the day; Hide the outcasts, do not betray him who escapes. Let My outcasts dwell with you, O Moab; Be a shelter to them from the face of the spoiler.” For the extortioner is at an end, devastation ceases, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.” Isaiah 16:3-4
The Lord, through Isaiah, is speaking to the land of Moab. He is encouraging Moab to make a decision and to make a judgment concerning the Moabite refugees who were seeking a return to their homeland from other countries. There are and will be followers of Jesus Christ who are currently and will be made refugees of the global culture of the beast. The global culture lives by the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel while pushing Christians out of their social network for devoting our body as the home of the Holy Spirit. “Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child… and the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelations 12:13, 17 Click for a post on Revelations 12.
The refugees fled Moab because of the destruction that came to them by the wrath of God’s judgment [through the Assyrians]. The Assyrians represent the global government of the beast, and the Lord directs us to flee from the persecution to come, to come apart from today’s culture, “…then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Matthew 24:16-21 Click for posts on Matthew 24. “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” Revelations 18:4-5
The Lord called the Moabite refugees His outcasts because they repented of the harm they brought to the the kingdom of Judah. Today, the Lord calls all believers His people, and we are those who are made outcasts from today’s atheistic culture. We have repented from the harm we did to God in our unbelief and ways of sin. Now, we live for Him through Jesus Christ in the presence of the Holy Spirit. He calls us His people and He is our God.
The Lord called on the land of Moab to make a shadow as dark as the night, in the middle of the day, to hide and comfort the refugees. Moab knew the destructive force of the Assyrians, like nations and people across the globe know the destructive force of the global government of today, along with its global culture. The Lord calls on countries and people, who realize the malintent of the culture of the beast, to hide and comfort His people [people whose faith is in His Son, Jesus Christ]. Hide the outcasts, do not betray him who escapes, let My outcasts dwell with you, be a shelter to them from the face of the spoiler. That will be the social atmosphere of the world towards the end of the global government and its global culture.
The extortioner who was coming to his end was the Assyrian, who oppressed neighboring lands, including the kingdom of Israel and the kingdom of Judah. The Assyrian represents the global government, that has made a point of dominating every country on all seven continents. The global government is progressing in becoming the undisputed one world government of the beast. The government of the beast comes to its end in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. That is when the power center of the beast is plunged into destruction, leaving the global government and its global culture powerless. The oppressors are consumed out of the land.
On the map below [in the middle], Moab is seen to the right of the kingdom of Judah. Assyria is seen above Syria [Kingdom of Aram-Damascus]. On the map to the right, Assyria conquered all the land within the red circle, which included Syria, the kingdom of Israel, the kingdom of Judah, and all the neighboring land. In those days, the Israelites were divided between the kingdom of Israel and the kingdom of Judah. The king of Judah turned away from the Lord and paid tribute to the Assyrian king from the treasures within the temple of God, which kept Jerusalem from being totally destroyed.

“In mercy the throne will be established; And One will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness.” Isaiah 16:5
When this present global government is gone, along with its global culture, and the power center of the beast is plunged into destruction, our Lord Jesus Christ will return. This present heaven and earth will be destroyed, and a new heaven and earth will be created, the place of the eternal New Jerusalem. “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelations 21:1-2
In mercy, the Throne of our Lord Jesus Christ is established, “For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings…God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us...For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” ” Hosea 6:6, Romans 5:8, John 3:17
The Throne of our Lord Jesus will be established, as He is the King of kings, “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!” Revelations 11:15
The Christ, Jesus, sits on the Throne in truth, in the tabernacle of David. The Jewish people knew that the Christ would come from the “house” of David, and Jesus was from that house, being of the Tribe of Judah, just like David [tribes represented a blood line in those days]. However, the Jewish people were expecting a kingdom on this earth, not a Heavenly eternal Kingdom.
The Christ, Jesus, seeks the judgment of God His Father, “And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me...and this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 8:16, John 3:19-21
Our Lord Jesus seeks justice, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19
Jesus Christ hastens righteousness by bestowing upon every Believer the Holy Spirit, who works righteousness within us by the process of sanctification, to enable us to walk in Holiness. “…we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth…” 2 Thessalonians 2:13
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
