Enduring in the Gospel of Christ within an atheistic world.

“But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.” 2 Timothy 3:10-11

The persecutions Paul is speaking about are found in Antioch: Acts 13:49-52, Iconium: Acts 14:4-7, Lystra: Acts 14:19-20, and also 2 Corinthians 11:25-30. Through it all, Paul maintained a lifestyle, purpose, and faith rooted in Jesus Christ.

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4 “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:3-5

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:12-13

Every person who desires to live for God through Jesus Christ suffers persecution. Belief in God, acknowledging Jesus as Christ and Lord, and living in the presence of the Holy Spirit are opposed by today’s culture. They live for the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and say and by what they say and do they fight against the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The beast gives breath to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. By what they say and do, they are being groomed to the mark, number, and name of the beast. Jesus says this to His children, “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.” John 15:20

As days progress towards the United Nations becoming the undisputed one world government of the beast, evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. The world is “…a dwelling for demons
and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelations 18:2

“Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you, and revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
for the Son of Man’s sake. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven, For in like manner their fathers did to the prophets.” Luke 6:22-23
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

“But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:14-15

The intent of today’s culture is to drive the Gospel of Jesus Christ into extinction. That’s because the word of God exposes today’s global government and its global culture as being established by the beast that governs through their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. They want all of Christianity to be driven into extinction, as described in Revelations 12.

We must continue in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is described like this, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 We have learned this verse by heart, maybe not word-for-word, because our born-again experience is the Gospel of Christ written on our heart. This comes to us from Jesus Christ, we are assured of His Gospel. The word of God and our born-again experience makes us wise in the ways of His Salvation by faith in Jesus Christ.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Those who welcome the beast to speak and live through them will never receive inspiration from the Holy Spirit, will never refer to the Bible as the source of their teaching, will never correct others according to the values taught in Jesus Christ, and will never allow themselves to be instructed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Those things are for the man of God, we who believe God and live by faith in Jesus Christ. By the Holy Spirit inspired scriptures, the Old and New Testament, we are made complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
