Israel is shaved bald from head to toe, a terrible insult.

In the verse below, “In the same day” refers to the day of events described in the post on Isaiah 7:17, around the time of the Battle of Armageddon, “The Lord will bring the king of Assyria upon you and your people and your father’s house—days that have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah.”  Isaiah 7:17

“In the same day the Lord will shave with a hired razor, with those from beyond the River, with the king of Assyria, the head and the hair of the legs, and will also remove the beard.” Isaiah 7:20

On the map below, the two kingdoms of the Israelites are seen, Israel and Judah. In the day of Isaiah, the Israelites were divided between two kingdoms, the kingdom of Israel and the kingdom of Judah. The Euphrates River is seen to the east and Assyria and the other kings came from the east of the Euphrates.

Prophetically speaking, those beyond the Euphrates River are the kings of the east, referring to east of the State of Israel. East of the Euphrates River would point to Russia, China, Iran, and others. They are those from beyond the river, who are with the “king of Assyria”, and symbolizes the global government of the beast. Today, the atheist nations of China and Russia are two of the three most powerful countries in the world, of the United Nations. The majority of the countries of the United Nations are atheists, with no belief in God, they see no need for Jesus Christ, and they do not want the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are. They are those who detest the independence of Israel and seek to shave bald the State of Israel with devastating humiliation, insult, stripping away national dignity, and exposing them to shame. Even today, the State of Israel is considered an international pariah by the United Nations, with the global culture in cities around the world protesting and rioting against Israel.

In Revelations, the Euphrates was dried up to make way for the kings of the east to cross over to gather for the Battle of Armageddon, “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared…and gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.” Revelations 16:12, 16

The “king” of the global government is the beast that governs by giving people what to speak, do, think, and feel. The global population serves the beast that gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through them. By what they are given to say and do, they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. That is why it is called the global government of the beast.

The phrase, “…the Lord will shave with a hired razor…” means that the Lord uses the global government of the beast as His “hired” instrument for bringing His judgment against Israel. The devastation brought to Israel, at the time of the Battle of Armageddon, is described in Ezekiel 39.

The Lord “hired” the king of Assyria, and other kings with him, as his razor to shave the head, the legs, and the beard of the kingdom of Judah. God brings His judgment by the hands of Assyria and the kings with him. While the Assyrians conquered the kingdom of Israel a bit earlier, the kingdom of Judah was conquered just a couple of years later. Jerusalem survived. Shaving a person bald from head to toe was a devastating humiliation in those days, a terrible insult. That symbolizes the total destruction, stripping away of national dignity, and exposing the people to shame. 

Already in this year 2026, we see the stripping away of national dignity of the State of Israel and the Israeli people are being exposed for their shame. Israel has been in 19 wars since the year they were established in 1948 and as a result the global culture riots and protests against them as the United Nations refer to the present government leaders of Israel as international outlaws. The shame of the Israeli citizens is seen in how they have adopted the most liberal abortion right laws in the world, they embrace the LGBQT lifestyles, and they protest and riot against their own government to demand conformity with the agenda of the United Nations [global government of the beast].

We are already seeing the beginning of the shaving of the head, legs, and beard of the Israelis, so envision what their destruction, humiliation, and shame will be around the time of the Battle of Armageddon. It will be a terrible insult. God has “hired” the global government of the beast and its global culture to bring His judgment against Israel.

The Jewish people rejected Jesus Christ 2000 years ago so God has gathered them to the State of Israel to totally strip away their dignity as a Jewish culture, to bring them destruction, and to bring terrible insult and shame to them, as quoted, “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. As men gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there and melt you. Yes, I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst.” Ezekiel 22:19-21
