“Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we will be content.” 1 Timothy 6:6-8
Our Lord is all-knowing, and these words are particularly important for us followers of Jesus Christ in today’s materialistic world. We live in a culture where being part of the community means to serve the beast that gives people what to speak, do, think, and feel. If we are not part of their atheistic culture then social approval is withheld. The negative feedback comes in forms of inadequate employment, having very little if any financial income, and many, many people are homeless and destitute. “Food insecurity” is a popular phrase nowadays as community food pantries [and clothing “banks”] are very important in communities everywhere to feed and clothe those who can’t provide for themselves.
Today, we have a small taste of not being able to buy or sale unless we live in the will of the community of the beast. “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelations 13:15-17 Click here for a post on the image of the beast. Our Lord Jesus says to us, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 16:19-21
“But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:9-10
One of the goals of the United Nations relates to their version of “the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil…”. Their belief is that by eliminating cash, that will eliminate the root of all kinds of evil and establish peace and security in the world. That is why nations around the world are creating the framework for the digital currency to create the cashless society. The president of the United States signed into law the “GENIUS Act” to make the United States the “crypto capital of the world”. They place dependence on the digital currency and decide they do not need God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit.
The digital currency will make the government in charge of the distribution of all resources, making people focus on the governing authorities for their every need. That is what is called a “supply side” economy with no focus on the “demand side” of what people want. People will be coerced to serve the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think and feel because that is the authority behind the global government and its global culture. People will still have a love for that “money” and will stray from faith in Jesus Christ just to be able to put food on the table and clothes on the back to be able to survive from day-to-day. Not to mention the effects on health care!
Because of the digital currency, those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown people in destruction and perdition. The global tribulation is progressing forward and so is the collapse of the global economy, as described in Revelations 18.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
