Third Woe: Corrupting others.
Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbor, pressing him to your bottle, even to make him drunk, that you may look on his nakedness!” Habakkuk 2:15

In the Bible, being attached to the bottle, which is drunkenness, was equivalent to spiritual corruption because the bottle distracted people from living in the will of God. To look on a person’s nakedness is to see the spiritual corruption of a person, not clothed with the will of God. In today’s culture, people are coaxed and persuaded to not believe in God, to turn away from Jesus Christ, and to not live in the presence of the Holy Spirit. They are being pressed to the bottle of spiritual corruption as people look on their nakedness [not clothed with the Holy Spirit].

Today’s culture is pressed to the entity that replaces the conscience and spirit [while oppressing the presence of the Holy Spirit] by giving people what to think, feel, say, and do. This is the entity that gives life to the image of the beast to speak and live through people. The world’s population is pressed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

“Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” Revelation 17:1-2 Click here for a post on Revelation 17.

“You are filled with shame instead of glory. You also—drink! And be exposed as uncircumcised! The cup of the Lord’s right hand will be turned against you, and utter shame will be on your glory.” Habakkuk 2:16

Today’s world government and its global culture are filled with shame instead of glory in the eyes of God. The Bible reveals the whole blueprint of today’s system, requiring people to forsake God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to live for the atheistic entity that has power over physiology. God will make them to drink of the same cup that everyone else drinks from, as He commands, You also—drink! They are being exposed for being far from Godliness and seen as those filled with detestable behaviors. The Lord’s right hand is against them, and utter shame is on the glory that they promote themselves with nowadays.

“So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 17:3-5

The cup of the Lord’s right hand will be turned against them, as quoted, “After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying,

“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,
and has become a dwelling place of demons,
a prison for every foul spirit,
and a cage for every unclean bird,
a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.

For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” Revelation 18:1-3 Click here for a post on Revelations 18 describing the collapse of the global government and its global culture.

“For the violence done to Lebanon will cover you, and the plunder of beasts which made them afraid, because of men’s blood and the violence of the land and the city, and of all who live in it.” Habakkuk 2:17

The judgment of the Lord comes through the violence and lawlessness of this world, which is a sign of the absence of the Holy Spirit, and the rejection of Jesus Christ who gives us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit restrains lawlessness, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 Click here for a post on the “lawless one”.

Referring to the global government and its global culture, God will “Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.” Revelation 18:6-8

Habakkuk speaks of the beasts that will be plundered, and when speaking of animals/beasts, the Holy Spirit speaks these words to us through Paul, “For it is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it oxen God is concerned about? Or does He say it altogether for our sakes?” 1 Corinthians 9:9-10

The beasts that are being plundered are those who terrorize and make the people of this world afraid. These are those who live for the entity that gives them what to think, feel, say, and do as they detest and oppose God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Gospel, Christians, and every aspect of Christianity. God is bringing His judgment against them for all the bloodshed they cause, for all the violence they cause globally, and for everyone in the world affected by them.

“Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:4-5

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
