First Woe: Evil gain for exalted places. “Woe to him who covets evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of disaster! You give shameful counsel to your house, cutting off many peoples, and sin against your soul. For the stone will cry out from the wall, and the beam from the timbers will answer it.” Habakkuk 2: 9-11
To “covet evil gain” refers to enriching self at the expense of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The “house” that covets these evil gains is the global government, established through the United Nations. Those evil gains come in the form of global taxes, as seen in the chart at the bottom of this post. Click here for a post on the global “Raiser of Taxes” from Daniel 11:20. The world government has set its “nest on high” [the very top of the world hierarchy] for the purpose of being “…delivered from the power of disaster.” We see how the United Nations promises to deliver the world from the power of disaster through its “sustainability goals”. Those goals are seen at the bottom of this post.
The “shameful counsel” given to the house [the population of the global culture] is to not believe in God, shun Jesus Christ, and to oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. Instead, they want us to accept the entity that replaces the conscience and spirit [while oppressing the presence of the Holy Spirit] to be able to give people what to think, feel, say, and do. This is the entity that enlivens the image of the beast to speak and live through people. The whole house is groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do. Because of this, many people are cut off from the Living God and causes the masses around the world to sin against their soul.
The phrase, “For the stone will cry out from the wall, and the beam from the timbers will answer it.” refers to the materials that hold the house up, which cries out against the house. This is symbolic of the day when the global culture, on which the house of the global government is built, cries out against the world government. This is described in the post on Habakkuk 2:5-8, as well as in Revelation 16:10-11.
The chart to the left reveals the work of the global “Raiser of Taxes” from Daniel 11:20 which covets these evil gains for the glory of the global government. The chart to the right reveals the goals by which the world government hopes to be “delivered from the power of disaster.”

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
