“In the day when your walls are to be built, in that day the decree will go far and wide. In that day they will come to you from Assyria and the fortified cities, from the fortress to the river, from sea to sea, and mountain to mountain. Yet the land will be desolate because of those who lives in it, and for the fruit of their deeds.” Micah 7:11-13
These verses describe when the walls of the State of Israel were built in 1948, and the decree was sent throughout the whole world that the Jewish people now had a land to call to their own. In that day, the Jewish people migrated from all around the world to make Israel their home. However, because of the Israelis’ persistence in rejecting Jesus Christ and because of the fruit of their actions, the land is left desolate. Certainly desolate of the Spirit of Christ and certainly desolate as a nation under God and will be desolated in the Battle of Armageddon, “See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you will see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Matthew 23:38-39
The fruit of the Israelis errant ways are described in the post on Micah 2:8-11. Our Lord Jesus said this, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ” Matthew 23:37-39
These verses of Micah are also describing the events leading up to the Battle of Armageddon in Revelation 16:12-16. These events began happening in 1945 when the United Nations was established, as described in Daniel 8:1-4. The walls were built, and the decree went far and wide to all the nations of the world to become member states of the United Nations. And in that day, the nations came from everywhere to join the global government of the United Nations. However, this organization brought the global government of the beast with it, and its global culture. The world population who lives for the global culture are known for the fruit of their deeds, which is to live by the beast giving them what to speak, do, think, and feel. This entity replaces human emotions and spirit, God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit to enliven the image of the beast to speak and live through people. They are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.
This present world system will be made desolate, and global warming is the beginning of their end, as described in Revelation 16:8-9. The more powerful the United Nations become as the one world government the hotter and more intense the effects of global warming become.
“Shepherd Your people with Your staff, the flock of Your heritage, who dwell solitarily in a woodland, in the midst of Carmel; Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in days of old. “As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them wonders.” Micah 7:14-15
Our Lord Jesus is the Good Shepherd, and by the Holy Spirit, He directs us to come apart from this world, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:4-5
Even today, the followers of Jesus Christ and His Gospel are driven to extinction in this world as described in Revelation 12, and we are basically living in a “woodland”. The churches have abandoned the Gospel of Jesus Christ, government lawmakers no longer implement the values of the Bible in making policy and laws, the educational system has banned the teaching of the Bible in classrooms, and Christianity is not wanted in any sector of society, as quoted, “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17 Even so, Jesus Christ is our deliverer, and we will see His greatest wonder yet when He returns to bring us home into the eternal New Jerusalem.
God sends His word that we may feed on Jesus Christ, who is the Bread and Water of Life. This is the way it was in the “days of old” before the United Nations caused the global falling away from the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as described in 2 Thessalonians 2.
“The nations will see and be ashamed of all their might; They will put their hand over their mouth; Their ears will be deaf. They will lick the dust like a serpent; They will crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth. They will be afraid of the Lord our God, and will fear because of You.” Micah 7:16-17
All the might of the global nations is rooted in the beast with power over physiology to give people uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary talents and skills, uncanny authority over others, amazing physical abilities, emotional responses, etc. With that, the global government will always have a powerful military, even though they have a “no guns” policy for everyone else. However, the day is coming, described in the Fifth Plague of Revelation 16:10-11, when the power center of the beast will be plunged into darkness, and all the power over physiology will be gone. The global government and its global culture will be powerless. Global warming of the Fourth Plague plays a role in the destruction of the power center of the beast.
The global government and its global culture will have their hand over their mouth because none of their “superhuman” abilities will be speaking and living through them, it will be their shame. They will be deaf and no longer able to hear the entity giving them their thoughts and feelings. They will no longer have uncanny knowledge, no heightened intuition, no extraordinary skills and talents, no uncanny authority over others, etc. They will be like crawlers that lick the dust of the earth. It will be a lawless and terrifying time in the world, and they will be afraid of the Lord our God. This leads to the Battle of Armageddon as described in the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:11-17
“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” Revelation 1:7 Our Lord Jesus returns during the Seventh Plague when the Seventh trumpet sounds of Revelations 11:15-18.
“Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. You will give truth to Jacob and mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from days of old.”Micah 7:18-20
There is no other god of this world like the Living God of Jesus Christ. That’s because He forgives whoever believes in Him, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 Our Lord is patient and merciful, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Through Jesus Christ, God has compassion on us, subdues iniquities, and throws all of our sin into the sea where He leaves them. Jesus Christ has made us the children of Abraham, “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:26-29
“This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face.” Psalms 24:6
“And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.” Revelation 11:18
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
