The return of Jesus Christ comes with fervent heat.

“For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place; He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. The mountains will melt under Him, and the valleys will split like wax before the fire, like waters poured down a steep place.” Micah 1:3-4

This verse associates the return of our Lord Jesus Christ with fire and melting. The Apostle Peter verifies this, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, in 2 Peter 3:10-13, as quoted, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:10-13

In the Revelation, the Holy Spirit through the Apostle John explains how global warming is instrumental in the destruction of the power center of the beast, which leads to the Battle of Armageddon and then the return of Jesus Christ. Below are the details,

Global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelation 16:8-9, “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.”

The more powerful the United Nations become as the one world government, the hotter and more intense the effect of the heat of global warming becomes. Apparently, the Battle of Armageddon will be fought in a very hot world.

The destruction of the power center of the beast comes in the Fifth Plague of Revelation 16:10-11. Global warming is instrumental in plunging the power center of the beast into darkness, “The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness...” The “throne of the beast” is the power center of the global government and its global culture. The power center is the entity that has power over physiology to govern through the thoughts and feelings of people to influence what is said and done. When the power center is plunged into darkness, there will be no more uncanny knowledge, no heightened intuition, no extraordinary skills, no uncanny authority over others, no amazing physical abilities, etc. The global government and its global culture will be powerless.

The Battle of Armageddon happens in the Sixth Plague of Revelation 16:12-16, after the power center is plunged into darkness, “Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.” The Battle of Armageddon is the final battle on this earth, and we know it doesn’t come until the entity that has power over our thoughts and feelings is no longer functioning. This will be a time when the “playing field is leveled”, unrestrained rebellion prevails, people looking for “payback” against the government system they were obligated to, lawlessness fills the earth, and there is a ton of tribulation in the world. In that event, the government tries to handle the situation the “old-fashioned way” with brute military force, leading to the Battle of Armageddon.

Our Lord Jesus returns in in the Seventh Plague of Revelation 16:17-21, three plagues after global warming of the Fourth Plague, which means the world will have certainly heated up and become very hot by that time. The return of Jesus is just one plague after the Battle of Armageddon, “Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurredEvery island fled away, and the mountains could not be found. The return of Jesus is when the Seventh Trumpet blows in Revelation 11:15-19Click here for more on The Day of the Lord in Zachariah 14.

“All this is for the transgression of Jacob and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem?” Micah 1:5

Jacob existed and died long before the book of Micah was written, so what was the transgression of Jacob and the sins of the house of Israel? First, Jacob was the father of twelve sons by whom the Twelve Tribes of Israel are named after. Jacob’s name was changed to Israel in Genesis 32:27-28, so the Twelve Tribes of Israel are the whole house of Israel. The sins of the hose of Israel, that Micah is speaking about, is the split between the Twelve Tribes of Israel, as described in the post on Micah 1:1. Ten tribes made up the northern kingdom of Israel, with Samaria as the capital. Two tribes [Judah and Benjamin] made up the southern kingdom of Judah, with Jerusalem as the capital.

The split of the twelve tribes of Israel was against the will of God and that disobedience was the root of their sin. Micah 1:1 also mentions three kings which describes much more detail into what the house of Israel had become, as described below,

Very briefly, this involves the kings, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. Jotham was a Godly king who ruled over a culture that served false gods. Ahaz succumbed to what the people were doing and imported false gods. Hezekiah restored worship of the Living God but revealed all of his wealth and treasures to foreign countries, which led to being brought into captivity by the Babylonians.

God’s judgment upon this world is due to the split in the culture that cuts off belief in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. As a result, the global culture lives for the false god that has power over physiology to give people what to think and feel to influence what is said and done. Following that, government leaders feel compelled, coerced even, to adopt that atheistic entity as the source of power in their governing. With that, government leaders try to impart a form of Godliness, but all of their wealth and treasures are invested to bring about the one world government through the United Nations. As a result, the world is brought into captivity to the goals of the United Nations.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
