Enemies of Israel feel empowered now but will face a global reckoning on this earth and in the Day of the Lord.

Obadiah 1:1-4

There is only one chapter in Obadiah.

“The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord God concerning Edom (We have heard a report from the Lord, and a messenger has been sent among the nations, saying, “Arise, and let us rise up against her for battle”): “Behold, I will make you small among the nations; You shall be greatly despised. The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; You who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’ Though you ascend as high as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down,” says the Lord.” Obadiah 1:1-4

Edom was founded by Esau, as quoted, “So Esau dwelt in Mount Seir. Esau is Edom. And this is the genealogy of Esau the father of the Edomites in Mount Seir…” Genesis 36:8-9 A reference is also made to Esau and Jacob in verses 10-14 of Obadiah. Esau was the twin brother of Jacob. The vision of Obadiah has to do with the genetic descendants of those of the Middle East region, as the State of Israel is an outcast in that region, being in 17 wars since the year they were gathered to Israel in 1948.  Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. 

Even though the Middle East is embroiled in conflict against the existence of the State of Israel as an independent state, a time is coming when the global nations will rise up against the unrest in the Middle East. Israel’s enemies will be among those targeted. For example, Iran [like other middle East countries of Islam] live by standards that violates the agenda of the United Nations, such as subjecting women to the rule of men, making women wear veils, denying educational opportunities to women, and violating equal rights of every kind. On top of that, just living for the religion of Islam violates the United Nation’s agenda of creating a world without religious and political boundaries. The Middle East countries [consisting of Isarel’s enemies] are out of line with the United Nations’ agenda to be the one world government.

Presently, the countries of Islam are doing a service to the United Nations by whittling away the will and independence of Israel, with countries such as Iran also being a global [terroristic] threat, especially to America. The Islamist countries such as Iran has no regard for the God of Jesus Christ who gives us the Holy Spirit, they despise America and Israel. God promises to make the Middle East countries of Islam “small among the nations” and make them despised. They will definitely be despised by the global culture that demands women’s equality, the end to religious boundaries, the end to political boundaries, the end to violence, threats of violence, etc. God will make them small among the nations by bringing the United Nations and their global culture against them.

The pride of the heart of the Islamist countries, such as Iran, has deceived them. Presently, they feel safe in the “cleft of the rocks”, those clefts of safety being a gift from those desiring to bring in the one world government of the beast through the United Nations. Their habitation is high in that they are providing a global service for the most powerful political forces of the many countries of the United Nations. As they make their threats against America, and Israel, they feel empowered and undefeatable as they say in their heart, “Who will bring me down to the ground?” The “terroristic” power and global reach of the Islamic countries make them to be seen as having connections in high places, as high as the eagle.

The Islamic countries have set their nest among the stars and God is going to bring them down. Having their nest set among the stars means more than being set among the United Nations but being set in the will of the entity that has power over physiology to empower them by giving them their thoughts, feelings, what to say, and do. This atheistic entity governs through the United Nations and is the force driving the United Nations to become the one world government. In Ezekiel chapter one, a vision of the space shuttle, space station, and space satellites is given, where the power of the global culture is set among the stars. This atheistic entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

“For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregations on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’” Isaiah 14:13-14

The atheistic entity with the power over physiology to give people what to think, feel, say, and do sets within us as if is God. We are the temple of God and the atheistic entity within us is the one, “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 The “him” in this verse is the “man of sin”, “the lawless one”, or the “son of perdition”. Click here for a post on the man of sin, lawless one, and son of perdition.

God is going to bring this present system down, and global warming is already a sign of that happening. Global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelation 16:8-9, “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.” Revelation 16:8-9 Global warming is instrumental in the destruction of the power center of the beast in Revelation 16:10-11. When that destruction happens, there will be no more uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and talents, amazing physical abilities, uncanny authority over others etc., because the entity with power over physiology will be destroyed. After that is when the Battle of Armageddon occurs in the Sixth Plague of Revelation 16:12-16. Our Lord Jesus Christ returns during the Seventh Plague and when the Seventh Trumpet blows.
