“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” Galatians 6:7-8
Those who sow to the flesh will reap the consequences of that corruption. For example, investing in sexual promiscuity reaps the consequences of the many sexual consequences. Investing in substance abuse reaps the consequences of the many problems associated with it. Investing in the love for money reaps the consequences of wanting money more than anything else. God is not mocked when He teaches us through Jesus Christ that he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Jesus says to us, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:9-10
We live in a world today where love has grown cold and the opportunity to do good is slim to none, but let’s not lose heart and as we have opportunity, let’s do good, “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Matthew 24:12–13 Today’s world culture extinguishes Christian births to eliminate Christianity, as described in Revelation 12.
Today, the churches have abandoned the Gospel of Jesus Christ, government lawmakers no longer integrate the values of the Bible in laws and policies, the educational system does not allow the teaching of the Bible in the classrooms, and visible Christianity is not welcomed in the social network. Today’s culture wants Jesus Christ to be out of mind and out of sight.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
