We serve Jesus Christ, not compliments, flattery, angelic essences, smooth words, good works, etc.

“Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words…” Colossians 2:4

One thing the new Christians had to learn [and something we need to learn today] is that serving Christ has nothing to do with kind words, compliments, flattering speeches, good works, smooth words, being persuasive, being angelic, etc. The Gospel of Christ is one thing, being born-again within the heart and mind to serve God through Jesus Christ. That is the sole reason that our Lord Jesus gave His life on the Cross. “Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels…” Colossians 2:18 “For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.” Romans 16:18 Those are the wolves in sheep clothing that our Lord Jesus warns us about, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” Matthew 7:15

Our Lord Jesus Christ gives us the victory in the wet and soggy mire of human sentiments, as described in Zachariah 10:5. “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.” 1 Corinthians 13:1

We live in a world where we are flooded with smooth words, flattering speech, persuasive appeals, angelic ideals etc. which mostly relate to saving the planet, humanity, and the entire ecosystem. All of this relates to the 17 goals of the United Nations, which are ingrained into the culture of cities around the world and flood the educational system. At the same time, the churches have abandoned the Gospel of Christ, government lawmakers no longer integrate the values of the Bible into their policies and laws, the educational system does not allow the teaching of the Bible in classrooms, and the circulation of Christianity is not wanted in the community.

“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.Colossians 2:8

By smooth words, flattering speech, persuasive appeals, angelic ideals etc. the global government of the beast is being developed. The driving force that is building the one world government is the atheistic entity that gives people of the global culture what to think, say, do, and say. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

The story of Cain and Able [Genesis 4:1-5] shows how God does not respect the offerings of the earth/ecosystem but instead respects those who respect the offering of the Lamb of God [Jesus Christ]. “And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.”

“For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ. As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:5-10

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
