Satan has his own version of the trinity, the same as God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” Colossians 1:15

God is invisible, Jesus Christ is the word made flesh for all the world to see, and the Holy Spirit is whom our Lord Jesus gave to us when He ascended into Heaven. That is the Trinity, the Godhead, as all three are God, one-in-the same, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Satan wants to be like God and even has his own trinity, his own godhead. Satan as the father gives great authority, power, and a throne to his son, the first beast, so that the world would serve Satan. “Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name… The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast…” Revelation 13:1-2, 4 This is like God who gave power, great authority, and a throne to His Son, Jesus, so that people would worship God the Father.

The third part of Satan’s trinity is the second beast with two horns like a lamb, which is Satan’s version of the Holy Spirit. This second beast exercises the authority of the first beast in order to cause people to worship the first beast to give power and glory to Satan. “Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast…” Revelation 13:11-12 This is like the Holy Spirit who draws people to Jesus Christ to give power and glory to God.

With his version of the trinity, Satan wants to set within the temple of God, our body, to set himself up as God. He does this with his tool that has power over physiology to give people what to think, feel, say, and do. Satan’s version of the Holy Spirit is not spirit at all but is artificial and non-spiritual. With this atheistic entity, Satan wants to draw all people to serve him as God, “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.
