“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about allowing our inner self to rule how we live our life day-by-day, without our behavior being regulated by whether we are being watched or not. This is what the forgiveness of sin is all about, to believe in our heart that Jesus is the Christ and Lord, to believe in God with all our mind and soul, and to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us from within. In this light, we do not depend on other people to be our conscience so that they can mold us according to their mold of salvation, instead we work out our own salvation by the Holy Spirit living in us through Jesus Christ. For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
“Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.” Philippians 2:14-16
Belief in God, living for Jesus Christ, and welcoming the Holy Spirit is part of subduing human nature, such as complaining, disputing, divisions, being an instigator, etc. so that we can be harmless as a dove. We are the children of God, made blameless and without faut through the righteousness of Jesus Christ within this crooked and perverse culture of today. Today’s culture lives by the atheistic entity that replaces their conscience and spirit by giving them what to think, feel, say, and do, and they cause strife and disputing with human beings. This artificial entity enlivens the image of the beast to speak and live through people as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.
In today’s world, the followers of Jesus Christ shine as lights of how to subdue human nature without being filled with maliciousness, anger, spite, disputing, divisions etc. “But if you criticize and attack each other, be careful that you don’t destroy each other.” Galatians 5:15 [GW Translation]. We want to hold tightly to the word of Life, to be able to rejoice in the day of Christ.
Global warming shows us that the return of Jesus Christ is still very much a reality, as quoted in Revelation 16:8-10,“Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” The more powerful the United Nations become as a one world government the hotter and more intense global warming becomes.
“Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. For the same reason you also be glad and rejoice with me.” Philippians 2:17-18
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
