Ezekiel 47:10
“It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many.” Ezekiel 47:10
The great sea where the Waters of Life flow is representative of the great masses of people to whom the Gospel of Christ has been made known. They are the “fish, and the fishermen are we who want to bring people into fellowship with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus says, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” Mark 1:17 The population of people is where many nets have been spread since the time Jesus Christ has walked on this earth, and the haul of believers have been many, as Jesus said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.” John 2:6 That large number of fish are those of the Great Sea, which is the body of Believers.
From the time of the death, resurrection, and ascension of our Lord Jesus, to around 1945, there were many people brought to Christ. Immediately after WW2 in 1945, the United Nations was established, which ushered in the government of the beast, which is described in Daniel 8. At that time, the Gospel of Christ began to disappear, which is known as the “Great Falling Away”. Today, the churches have abandoned the Gospel of Jesus Christ, government lawmakers do not apply the values of the Bible to their laws and policies, the educational system does not allow the Bible to be taught in classrooms, and Christianity is not welcomed in society. As Jesus Christ says, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:4-5
