Jesus Christ prepared Himself as the sacrifice for the sin of all people. 

Ezekiel 45:22

“And on that day the prince shall prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering.” Ezekiel 45:22

Jesus Christ is the Prince who prepared Himself as the Passover Lamb to atone for the sin of all people. Our Lord Jesus was giving instructions to His Apostles to make preparations for His Passover event, “Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare…” Mark 14:12 “For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.” 1 Corinthians 5:7

Jesus Christ came into this world as the sacrificial Lamb of God, the Passover Lamb, to be the body prepared for the purpose of shedding His blood on the altar of the Cross. God did not desire all of the animal sacrifices of the Old Testament, so He sent His Son Jesus to be the final sacrifice ever needed to atone for sin. Jesus Christ came to fulfill the volume of the Old Testament law and Prophets, to do the will of God, which was to give His life on the Cross to atone for sin. As quoted, “Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—In the volume of the book it is written of Me—To do Your will, O God.’ ” Hebrews 10:5-7
